    The hollow grind in the centre (which is like a huge fuller) makes it reminiscent of a cut-throat razor. It looks sharp enough to cut you just sitting on the bench.

    That is so cool! It is almost like having a chef's table at a restaurant. I was gonna ask if you ever thought about putting your logo on your creations? I also watch Random Hands and he has a bunch of his little RH logos prefabricated to incorporate into his designs. I would love to own a knife or hatchet with a BBP logo on it. Similar to your YT profile pic or something like that.

  • @saskscott26

    I always have the weirdest love/hate relationship with your projects. There's so much I love about your style and stuff but every time I see the round dowel handle method I always lose it. It just seems so much less sturdy and permanent than pins through a tang or cutting a rectangular slot in the wood.

    • @daveharris39
      @daveharris39 3 роки тому +1

      Not a knife maker, but a wood worker (amateur) here.
      A proper glue joint is stronger than the wood fibers. I think that this method is a simple yet effective way of getting a great fit.
      Sometimes Blackbeard goes to the other extreme with his handles, sometimes he opts to go quick and simple. Shrug.
