i dont know why people act like being 30-40 is old. Your mentally more mature and more intelligent at these ages then you are in your 20s I would argue a prime fighter at age 33-43 is your prime not your 20s depending on the person. Mike tyson said his prime was 20 years old but we have seen other fighters who peaked in their early 40s. I guess it depends upon your genetics and mental strength and effort put in.
Depends on the weight class. Issue is speed and reactivity. Those worsen as time goes on the quickest. That's why people usually consider than around 35 years old for those low weight classes is starting to get old. particularly considering that fighters those ages usually have a lot of fights behind them and may not have the same motivation and will in the cage.
It's just hints eitherway, it's not an unbreakable rule. Look at the heavyweight category. It's not uncommon to see fighters reaching their 40s because strength isn't leaving as quickly.
It depends on the person and how they take care of themselves, their career, etc. It is not simply saying that 40 is not old, there are fighters who are finished at 34, then you have Jared Cannonier who is 40 and you would never believe it, he has cardio and it's all the time hitting without stopping and then you have Stipe who looks like my grandfather

Mike, I hope I get to see you fight at least one last time before you retire MMA for good. Despite your losses, you were my favorite fighter for the longest time and still top 5 for me to this day. You deserve better than what the UFC and what Conor have been doing to you. Absolutely love Michael Chandler. I’m really glad that he’s finally got the fight with Connor but I can’t help but feel disappointed that we’ve lost out on at least a couple of amazing fights while he waited. I just hope we get to watch and fight another couple of times after the Connor fight.
