    ahh, just saw you have this lift kit... its easier to put in the kit from the top... take off the rack, fender.. and its all right there... way easier than the way you did it... but you got it done... so looks good.
    should of measured with the old tires so you know the real lift..

      I agree. I had a 2017 Sportsman 570 that I bought brand-new, I got rid of it. There's so many problems with them. It gets too hot and clunks. There's no backup pull start because it's too high compression. I am in the market now to look for a Sportsman 500. I think I would like it better. BTW... I'm a Minnesotan also. I live near Milaca.

    • @Temptation_Offroad
      @Temptation_Offroad  4 роки тому +1

      These tires take a lot of power to turn over and are a very heavy tire. I believe the smallest size they come in is 28s. Your 2019 450 might not need a lift kit to fit these, because the newer wheelers have more fender clearance than the older ones did. A clutch kit will probably be a must. EPI and QSC are supposed to make good ones.

  • @randyrowe3097
    @randyrowe3097 5 років тому

    This basically just raises the body right? It doesn't give you more suspension or ground clearance. Thanks a bunch for sharing.

    • @Temptation_Offroad
      @Temptation_Offroad  5 років тому +1

      Correct, its main purpose is to make room for larger tires. Even with this 2" lift the 28's still rub when turning and especially with my snow plow on the front. I know newer model sportsman 500s can clear 28s with no lift kit, because of the different fender design. Glad the videos help out!
