it's a good laptop but the built is quite fragile (Magicbook 14 2022, max. 145 degrees only even less than your 180). the laptop lid wobbles (not unlike 1:43 and 2:00) when pushed open/close and when moved/shifted. I suspect most old laptops wobble like this (2 of my old laptops do, 7 and 9 years old) but my old office laptop (HP & Dell) didn't seem to no matter how I manhandled it (pushed it to 180 degrees, lifting & carrying it by the lid in the office). on my 3rd day of using my new laptop like a baby, I showed my video to Honor support and they told me it was a human damage (hence not covered by warranty) which I highly doubt. hence my conclusion the build is actually quite fragile... a fitting quality for the price Edited to add about quality: also, 3 weeks into using my new Magicbook 14, while using it on my lap watching videos, I noticed some flickering (screen went black for 1-2 seconds) esp. when I shifted it in my lap. Another issue is when I placed it flat on my bed, with a laptop pad under it, the fan would be buzzing loudly and it'd only stop when I tilted it slightly. But putting it back to the default flat position the noise would resume Bit too soon & new to warrant a taking apart to fix it
Yea, good spot, I'd agree the hinge is not very sturdy and 'fitting quality for the price' describes it quite well. I usually have my laptop closed under my monitor like a desktop though, so I wasn't tremendously affected by it. Someone who takes it out more often should definitely take note of this.
I find your video recently because I'm looking for a camera, (gm1, gm5 or gx85...) I don't know yet. Because like you said in your video the best is invest in lenses. I wanted to know what lense do you recommend for shooting video and take pictures. I saw you used Samyang lenses are they better than Panasonic ?
I happened to use Sigma Contemporary lenses for M43, those are great (though the 16mm F/1.4 is a bit chunky). If I could only have 3 lenses, they would be the 12-32mm pancake kit lens, Lumix 20mm F/1.7 pancake and the Sigma 56mm F/1.4. Those really embrace the spirit of M43 in portability and size. As for the camera, I think the GX85 is surprisingly still the best value for money if found used. The GM1 is much tinier, but the GX85's IBIS makes it a better package for all forms of shooting for the price. Bump up to the GX9 if you have a bit of spare cash. I've come to appreciate this rangefinder bodies after buying myself a Lumix G9 - boy is it heavy! Anyway, hope this helps.
@@johnysins69696 Yup, I’m Malaysian. I assume that’s true but I’ve never had to claim warranty on the product, so can’t comment on how good their warranty service is.
Faza should ask more advice for more videos i guess...
Great Video👍🏻
Amazing review

@@ShaunYeoh yeah it's helping me a lot, exactly I was thinking the spirit of the M43 Is to be light !
i also have this laptop with 15.6 inch screen but mine don't turn to 180 degrees
A bit of a shame they seem to have removed the 180 degree screen for newer models for sure.
@@ShaunYeoh yeah you are from Malasia right? i have heard honor is giving 2 years of warranty on his laptops in malasia is it true?

what is the max speed support of ethernet?
From what I see, it’s USB 3.2 Gen 1 which is basically USB 3.0, so 5 Gbps max from that specification.
Can upgrade ram.and ssd?
SSD yes, RAM no unfortunately.
this laptop is it okay to run genshin impact??
Looking at other people’s results, looks like Genshin is playable at 35 FPS on 1080p low settings, or 60 FPS 720p low-medium.
@@ShaunYeoh ohh alright thank you so much 😊👍🏻
