First U.S. Army Garrison in Poland - We Are NATO

The United States is committed to defending every inch of NATO territory. The establishment of the U.S. Army's enduring presence in Poland demonstrates that commitment.
The United States Army has over 50,000 troops in Europe right now, performing three missions:
• One, we are deterring aggression against NATO territory
• Two, we are reassuring our NATO Allies
• And three, we are standing in support of Ukraine as it defends itself against Russia’s invasion
U.S. soldiers are all over Europe under the command of V Corps, including in countries like Germany, Poland, Hungary, Slovakia, and the Baltics. #WeAreNATO
