    The American Army has an important role in Poland currently, so when I received an invitation to watch them give out presents at an orphanage up in Olecko, I simply couldn't resist tagging along. I got the chance to interview a few of our soldiers and ask them what they thought about living in Poland. I was pleased with what I heard. Thanks for watching!

    It's true that language learning is a gift. I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese fluently and have some understanding of Italian and French. Polish has been a struggle, I have memorized enough to have "Survival skills" - I can read most menus and figure out what they say, and I can order food, ask for directions , greet and curse. But Polish for me is rote memorization; one time I went to a small grocery store to buy bread and some other items, and was ready to say "gdzie jest chleb?" (where is the bread?) but then "Despacito" started playing , and then my brain just switched - I asked, "Donde esta el pan?" Imagine the cashier's face...

      @JayZx777 3 роки тому

      @@Happy-kc2yr In 1939 Poland was in the alliance with Britain and France, but not with the United States. During Yalta and Potsdam conferences, the Big Three (Stalin, Churchill, Roosevelt/Truman) did make decisions that led to Eastern Block creation and test Roosevelt gave free rein to the Soviets over territories of Poland, Czechoslovakia, Romania, Bulgaria, and Hungary. What we had learned from history is that those alliances are broken due to changes of interests. Alliances are a game, but without allies, it is much more difficult to survive. So without the US as an ally to Poland, the country would be like Ukraine- alone and hopeless. Now with the current US administration under Biden, none of the US allies are safe as Biden is incompetent and weak. Now regarding Poland being a puppet, well - the country is not a world player to dictate to others what to do. So Poland and any other medium-sized country follow the bigger brothers which is a norm. Don't forget what the real puppet state looks like, it is not today's Poland, but less PRL (Polish People's Republic) when it was a Soviet vassal state (or satellite if you prefer). So our wonderful country is safer with the United States troops present in Poland than without, and that is the whole point. Alliances are based on benefits, and Poland benefits from it (not financially, unfortunately) by gaining additional world security. Cheers!

      Allies? I've loved the American culture since I was a kid, watching CN and stuff BUT let's be honest - during WWII both the UK and US didn't help us. They've left us, because the upper plan was to postpone the help (according to plans for the NWO). If something negative happens then it's always easier to fight on somebody else's ground than on your own. I don't have anything against soldiers since they don't know the real reason they're here. They just do the orders their supervisors have provided. Their understanding and conscioussnes about the bigger picture are slim or none. As Poles we have been counting on other nations (or so called "allies") many times and usually it didn't go well. Let's learn on what the history provides us with...
