Wow , that's a great Korgi Minissima restoration project and I like it very much . Excelent work at the finishing parts and at the painting . Excellent work and the final result is absolutly amazing and I like it very much . Thank you so much for sharing my friend and have a great weekend . 🎅🏻🎁🧦🧸🎀
Awesome restoration Laz, I've never seen 1 of these before ever, and I've been collecting diecast for nearly 50yrs 🤫😂 enjoy your weekend 🍻 🇦🇺 🦘 🪃 🏔 🎅 🍻
I like it! And thanks for the shout out, Laz! Red and brown sounds weird, but it really works - I have a near mint one that just sits on a shelf: it was a very clever bit of work, and you can see the Towns razor-edge styling clearly in it. Similarities with the Aston Martin Lagonda are very evident. Nice job!
The Minissima was a concept car designed by William Towns that was never produced due to high production costs and other design flaws. The Minissima was based on the Mini
wrong the design was sold to BL who in turn sold the rights to elswick bicycles who re designed the interior for disabled drivers and was in production from 81-87 as the Elswick Envoy
not true , it was sold to BL who showed it at one motor show , BL then sold the design to elswick cycles who adapted the interior for wheelchair users and it went into production as the elswick envoy from 81-87
looks as new again, and the details add a lot. :) I don't think they sold many of this casting. to a kid it doesn't look like anything, it's just a silly prototype... but seems there is an important history to it. one only we grown-ups care about. :)
Great restoration love the colours! Big improvement on the original! A lovely model now to show off 🚙🚙🚙
Many thanks! Mick , it's already in the cabinet
