You sure brought back a lot of memories for me Mike, I call junk yards a treasure trove of great goodies. That's how I practically rebuilt my old Honda Accord. Love it buddy. 😎⭐👍
I love going to the junk yard and enjoyed you taking us along on this one. I think part of the fun is hoping to find the gem you need and knowing you got it at a bargain price. One of our local u pull places had a bucket sale the other day. You would be surprised what you can fit into a 5 gallon bucket! I know we have some spares at our places here. If you need me to get you one just post on this comment and I will buy it and hold it for you.
I miss my old mustang I told you about, it's the one I learned how to drive a manual on. I always think it's a cool adventure looking for the pieces to the puzzle. Till next time.
As soon as the side panels are repaired, she's will look million times better inside Mike. Already looks good inside, especially with a bottle of shine. Great content 👌.
MWM goes shopping .....on a Mustang salvage parts junkyard, hope you can get all, if not, most of it at fairly low prices...enjoy the trip...regards from Kuala Lumpur Malaysia....
Hi from uk MPM 👋👍 at least with the rear seats and antenna you can have pew and wait to 👉recieve the signal👈😂 to get to next step as for the paint would you think a paint correction could cure it or think it might need knocking down and re finishing? I love the breaker yards over there how they get away with stacking cars on 3 sets of 2 rims a horizontal on and vertical one 😱 talk about safety glasses and high viz 😂😂😂 thanks for your time and be safe see you soon👍👋
I looooove junkyard videos!! So many interesting stuff! Great video Mike! You did it good with the Mustang! P.S: Swap the radio for a modern 2 din Android unit (maybe there's a Mustang specific one) and call it a day ✌️
Looking good Mike, keep it up and that little pony will look like it rolled off the floor, on the inside of course, a little new paint job will make that mustang look so much better and the spoiler on the trunk will really look better, have a great day Mike.
I love the s500 you were on more than the finding of a spare wheel, an antenna and a back seat frankly Mike. But you didn't take us to see the Beemer 3 series at the junk yard😄
First time commenter, love Ur channel, only one I subscribe to. We have a 2008 cancer special addition, 170,000 miles, a lot of work bit we love it. Enjoy this tang, there r a bunch of Mustang lovers out here
Mike!! Good score with the seat...Always check in the cars next to the mustang for the trunk ma, people use them to roll on the floor when dismantling the cars next to the mustang so it my be 'around'...if you get me...mustang was a great score...I though you'd been bitten with that ancient stciker on the window!
Mike you could just buy some new covers and do a stream on installing them. Alternative buy some covers and go to a auto upholstery shop and start building a relationship and hopefully a discount by promoting them. I agree with other comments about going with a updated radio adding a rear camera etc. Make it more saleable.
Mike, you can buy seat covers off Ebay, and replace them. Probably your best bet, although I do love looking through LKQ Domestic cars have used metric hardware since the early 90s
@@MonkeyWrenchMike The first dealer I ever worked for had a gorgeous 1980 model in black with shiny chrome wheels and the fake hood intake. The car was a little over 2 years old and it knocked like crazy. Ford realized it was a mistake as well.
Still a good video. Yes sometimes searching for parts at the junk yard can suck lol. Just have to keep looking. Pretty sure you will find a front seat. That new used rear seat bottom looks really good in there
I was shocked you went so far. I usually start at lkq, then Danny's. Between those two I can usually find what I'm looking for. But I'm usually only looking for import part's.
I love that mustang looks like my 2008 I had it was a pony package 4.0 V6 and I sold it because of family stuff going on and she was too small to fit 2 wheelchairs. Miss that car everyday
I had an 05 gt i loved that car but unfortunately with my back problems it made it hard to get in and out of so i had to sell it that body style was my favorite out of them all
Mike i didn’t know you had a mustang 🤔...... I’ll bet they are night and day compared to what your use to working on....At any rate this was a good video, i think you should keep em coming👍🏿
I'm just wondering why you didn't get that spare tire that you found in that Mustang?🤔 I really enjoyed the video and hopefully you will do another junk yard video when you go back to the junk yard. Great Video like always!😎
When I worked at a Ford dealership, the problem with the radio knobs appeared only on cars driven by women with fingernails. Every time a car was traded in by a woman with long fingernails we had to find knobs for the radio.
Ya know Mikey, one of these days I'll teach you how to re-dye interior components, that 1 tan seat could be made the color you need w/ interior dye from O'Reilly's.....🤔
All fine on that video - just real life ;) So great Randy talked you into that! Btw do your neighbor still nag you because of the cars in the driveway?
@@MonkeyWrenchMike ok that's good. This is so ridiculous. How dare some people and care about what others do? If it was a substancial threat, you walk to that person and talk. If this does not work other steps need to follow. But for having some cars in your driveway? Have fun with them :) Thank you for your content!
This series 💔 - sold my 2005 Stang conv..(white/black top & INTERIOR). Still in mourning - my baby for 16 yrs. Wouldn't even drive her in rain 🙂 131k & a Toyota dealership paid me more than 2X what u paid..think condition matters 😂
I want to see more junk yard videos. For some odd reason I love junk yards. People leave all kinds of things in their cars. How about eating two year old candy from a junk car, would you? :)
"this place {junk yard} has a lot of Mustangs". What does that tell you. How many Benz's are in the junk yard. ? I love going to junk yards. You can learn how stuff comes apart beore you break something on yours. Hate when people break stuff to get their parts.
Mike we enjoy watching your channel however needs more videos or the videos needs more content like maybe 🤔 randy can do a video or two like an hour or so . Keep up with bring us videos Mike 🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗🚗
I'm watching close if you look deep in my videos you'll see my 68 #2 that replace the best car I ever ( HAD) for ten days lol. Now I need to get busy rebuilding it
Love a good junkyard excursion! Excellent work Monkey Wrench Mike
That brings back memories. I used to go to the junkyard with my dad to pull parts for whatever project he was working on at the time.
This project series will definitely get viewers, people love Mustangs and quick restoration projects are fun 😊🤘🏽🔥

Enjoyed the trip to the various junkyards to see what was there.

Think your getting attached to the Mustang! Love the fishing expedition for parts. Thank you for sharing!
Mustang are good cars if you find one in good shape, keep on wrenching mike
That silver S500 is so beautiful, bet you're really proud of owning such a magnificent Benz.

Thanks Michael!! Appreciate it!
Love junk yard hunts. Ive rebuilt many vehicles from junkyard stuff I think its fun
Pretty cool! Some people forget that with a little effort you can turn a forgotten car into a nice daily again! Thanks!

Loving the junkyard shopping really nice to see something different please do more if you can
You’re getting there. Beautiful!
Love your channel. //From Sweden
Sweden!! Thanks!!!
I had a 1989 5.0 coupe with 5 speed. Loved it.
The 4 cylinder turbo Fox Body cars knocked shortly after they were new. They looked good though, especially in black.
Mine was black on black!!

That radio is one of the best ford ever put in the mustangs !
its looking better Mike just keep looking for the right parts brother. liked all this new Mustang

Brilliant work and thanks for sharing this with us take care
Love these types of videos 👍 still can't understand why you're not over 100,000 subscribers your content is always this good 👍👍👍
Love cruising junkyards. Even if you don't find what you are looking for, it's like therapy.
Yes!!

Nice find Monkey wrench Mike 👍👍
Well now you have sounds and a good rear seat little by little its comming on great Mike
You look good in that mustang....
That's a cool junk yard with a restaurant heaven
I love that mustang looks like my 2008 I had it was a pony package 4.0 V6 and I sold it because of family stuff going on and she was too small to fit 2 wheelchairs. Miss that car everyday
Great video Mike that car is worth 4500 in Florida
Thank you for doing a salvage yard video. I really like it.
Call around at a few Upholstery shops in your area and see what they charge to fix your seat.
This is so cool 🤘🏽 hunting for parts!
I like the junkyard hunt videos! 👍🏻
Fun video Mike. And remember, every car runs on used parts. Thanks and we'll see you next time.
More often than not I ended up bringing back stuff that I was not looking for in Junkyards...
Yeah me to always
Loved the new content keep up the hard work.
To damn funny Mike . Love the videos. Stay safe,
I had an 05 gt i loved that car but unfortunately with my back problems it made it hard to get in and out of so i had to sell it that body style was my favorite out of them all
I found an upholstery shop in Oklahoma City that might be able to fix the drivers seat side bolster; Accord Upholstery & Fabric
Thanks!
Mike i didn’t know you had a mustang 🤔...... I’ll bet they are night and day compared to what your use to working on....At any rate this was a good video, i think you should keep em coming👍🏿
Also LKQ will ship from any location to your local location for free. You cane look online for parts from any LKQ across the country.
I tried that. But there are zones. The LKQ has to be in the same zone. If not, you have to pay for shipping.
@@MonkeyWrenchMike hmm. That is odd. They told me anywhere in tye Country but that was for a engine. Maybe it depends on tye amount of money.
so sweet i hope you and randy hit a mill soon
That's the style of mustang that I like, not sure if you talked about what engine is in it.
V6 - 4.0
Cant that tan leather seat be dyed or is the pattern different for the drivers side🤔
I'm just wondering why you didn't get that spare tire that you found in that Mustang?🤔 I really enjoyed the video and hopefully you will do another junk yard video when you go back to the junk yard.
Great Video like always!😎
Wrong size. Found one on Marketplace for $15
@@MonkeyWrenchMike
Well that sucks. 😅
You got a spare tire for $15 on Marketplace! Dang that's Awesome!🤠👍🏻
Too bad you couldn’t get the parts but hopefully you’ll find a seat! Like the color

black paint helps
Just get an upholstery needle and some thread and sew the front seat. Try some dye or paint on the door panels. Wish I could buy the car.
Mike you should name her Mustang sally 2.0 😀
Sell your old backseat on ebay. Maybe it'll be someone's best choice lol.
I love F-150's not only are they nifty their thrifty!
You should name it the "STANG" LOL 😆 😂 🤣
Mike don’t beat yourself up. I liked the video!
Holy crap that back seat looks NEW!!! Good job Mike. 👍
I really like going to the pull-a-part yards.
How does the 4 banger ecoboost compare to this 🤔
Mikey mike, i think scrap yard videos are best to do, buying unloved cars and reviving them❤️
Chicken part's Hunting 🤣
Thumbs up the video as soon as I saw it lol
I love junkyard videos. More yes
I have been trying to find a radio for my 08 Edge. The price is $150 and up.
Ya know Mikey, one of these days I'll teach you how to re-dye interior components, that 1 tan seat could be made the color you need w/ interior dye from O'Reilly's.....🤔
You buy stickers for the buttons on the radio on eBay
You can buy very nice vinyl/leather seat covers for a reasonable price that would look good in your Mustang
Just saying.
I presume there are no ghost images visible when you raise and look at the underside of the hood? Have you checked?
No scary images on this one!
All fine on that video - just real life ;)
So great Randy talked you into that!

Not since that anonymous letter.

Could an auto upholstery shop repair that driver's seat?
Mike don't you need the wing on the trunk, the white one had it
Radio buttons just need some paint.
Love watching but I need a Mercedes but alas can't afford thank you
Remember Ford's old slogan? Have you driven a Ford lately!
I loved this video, it's not lame.
