The Girl did a few months in Prison for not doing what Israelis are supposed to do. My problem was that they were being praised for "doing the right thing" when they are actually doing wrong by everybody involved. They are still occupying Palestinian land and are living under the protection of the Army they would no join, too cowardly to fight for themselves but still being upheld by the same Violence they would reject performing themselves. We are not just talking about Collectives here. There are old Property Registries going back and we know what Palestinians Families owned what. I have always supported Israel but the settlements and conditions forced upon the Palestinians have shown that there is evil in every ethnicity as well as good. Removing settlements made after 1967 is the right thing to do. There are people of Judaic, Muslim, Christian and other beliefs in the Middle East. I live in the USA which is very diverse. There are problems from that but it always stems from ignorance and yes, there are many positive aspects of this diversity, I couldn’t imagine living any other way. Get rid of ignorance and don’t expect people to conform to your culture but celebrate all the differences.

@@duel235 Okay, but if you own the house then it is okay not to pay rent, right? But then it is difficult to do anything about Property Taxes. In the US if a developer wants to clear out a neighborhood and they have connections in Local Government they can just increase the Property Tax assessments and force people out and then re-assess when everybody sells out... and it will make sense because the prices will drop as the land goes up for sale. Prices are always high when nobody is selling. But drop like a rock with the first sale. Sort of like the Stock Market. Everybody is rich until anybody tries to profit take.

The property was taken off the owners when Jordanians ethnically cleansed the land of Jews and then the rights were later given back to the original.jewish owners, allowing the tenants to stay living there as long as they would pay rent but they refused. It's been in the courts for 20+ years and is between two private parties nothing to do with the government or trying to ethnically cleans the area.
