There are a lot of channels with slides showing boats but your commentary is actually cool. Hopefully one day paths cross and we get a collab between you and nautistyles once they get their bering

Great as always! I say, you take the bow of the 180 with an aft trawler superstructure to make the ultimate modern trawler! With 3 floors above main deck
I'm not the biggest fan of the styling of the 125, it's kind of a stretch B75. I prefer the lines of the B72 (which is my favourite of the Berings I've seen), B77 and B145 personally.
Blimey, that B180 has more than a hint of bond villain about it, doesn't it! 😃

Seeing as my yacht sails only in my dreams, I am not limited by budget. Accordingly, the yacht I prefer is the Bering 145. It has the crew compliment I would prefer and the space necessary for the comfort I imagine.
I also have an imaginary 145. Great choice.

It alright having these massive explorer yachts John, but I personally love the Bering 65 which is a owner/operator size explorer yacht. Although these huge yachts are great to look at they're a little bit out of my league unlike the 65, which is just within the said range.

72 footer is the best in my opinion
I like them all. For me anything above 120 feet should have a gym(or available exercise equipment)and cinema(indoor or outdoor). Also a sayna.
145 is my favorite

Bering's are a total no-brainer at about 77 feet and below. Superyacht/Explorer yacht quality and features at that small size. But at 125 feet, there's serious competition and Bering's advantages become less obvious. It really just comes down to which design has your specific features and performance. The Bering 125 is very slow for example - a lot of people will expect better performance at 125 feet.
Not sure what brands you're thinking of. Hope not Nordhavn. There aren't many that come to mind that are true explorers like Bering.
So Alexie has said that the 180 is more of a pipe dream and they have yet to have anyone offer to have it built. But he suspects that if it were to be built, it would not look like what is shown on the website. It would look more in line with what the other boats look like but bigger. There would be a dedicated helicopter pad up forward which is a given, then directly underneath that would have to be the 'toy' storage area because you couldn't put anything else there because of the amount of noise a helicopter generates it would make it uncomfortable to live directly beneath that. The deck would need to be at least 30 feet long to accommodate the Icon A5 Seaplane length of 23' and have a crane that is capable of lifting a submarine from Uboat Worx or Triton, so 7 ton lifting capacity minimum. The design plans would be changed for sure though, however if anyone that particular style, he would make it gladly, but once he explained the limitations, he is sure the customer would say 'no, you can build it like 145'

The Bering 125 looks less like an oversized tug boat and more like a luxury yacht.
If I stepped onto a B77, I may never step off. The B77 is more ship than yacht. Larger means a full crew; smaller means less comfort on long journeys. 77 is the right size for an energetic couple to live aboard, sail everywhere, without sacrificing amenities, and not costing the stars to purchase and operate (relative to other yachts of type and class).
Who would buy a yacht from a Russian owned company build in Turkey? Good luck with that.
Not watched your video yet, but I know the model. It's not my style tbh, prefer the more "workmanlike" look. The couple from Nautistyles have just ordered a 75ft one. Hopefully you'll catch them up with subscribers soon mate.

Just keep phoning the brokers, you've got 16.6k subscribers, you'll get yourself aboard a few boats as it'll help sell them. But you're probably on that already.
Why should standard solutions for the location of rooms and recreation areas be presented as a "fantastic idea"? On which yacht is the captain's cabin located as far as possible from the wheelhouse? That would be a "fantastic idea."

Now then me ole salty sea dog, it's not for me. The company has a good reputation for build quality but, you know me, interior again Johnno, the deck layouts need some serious rethinking before i'd think of buying one.
I think their philosophy is to build the best explorer yacht below 24 metres, which can be owner operated and they excel in that. There are other experienced and well established successful builders above 24 metres already. Having said all that 125 is a great yacht too

My favorite would have to be either the Bearing 125 or the 145. Not sold on the looks of the 180. I believe Victoria and Rico from Nauti Styles are having a new boat build from Bearing. I definitely love the explorer style yachts. And as I said before, I love your channel.

I really wish Bering would concentrate more on the 65, 70, and 77 models. It's just a dream but I'd like one we could run ourselves. Additionally I like going into smaller marinas and anchorages where this really wouldn't fit.
but those already exist and to be honest for a new maker they are close if not already as good as a nordhavn.. them going bigger is probably much more to do with demand than their actual will
Nautistyles just commissioned a build for themselves to live aboard, as owner/operators. They are building a Bering 75, appropriately customized to their wants and tastes of course. My point being, it most certainly is a yacht that can be operated by a married couple who own it.

This Berring Baby is an awesome exploration superyacht that will take you to your particular dream destination in super comfort and super style. This awesome yacht is an excellent superior model; the boat architecture is sheer class, both exterior and interior. Love this boat!!!
I am a big fan of Bering yachts and while having a bigger yacht is nice, I would prefer the largest owner operator yacht so would therefore go with the 77'. From an economic and ease of operation perspective, I really like the FPB's of equivalent size but unfortunately these are no longer available.
I believe that Bering has some of the best designed yachts around, the Owners of the Nauti-Styles UA-cam Channel have just commissioned a Bering 75 I think. I always wonder how one affords the fuel bill for these girls, especially if you plan on using them as a live aboard and taking them on an adventure a few times a year. I'm scared to even ponder that answer and I live in Alberta where I've seen bitumen literally fill in your boot prints as you walk.
John, I know this was sold a few years ago to a couple that operate a wine vineyard in California but the layout of this yacht (teeny Ship) I think is very well thought out, and the presenter is quite the character. Let me know what you think of her, I understand she went for $1.3Million US.

@@YachtBuoy For me she hits that sweet spot for Seakeeping, Effective range, Creature Comforts and Livability and of course Price. That and hailing from Canada, I dig the fireplace! I'd love to tell you that I was in a position to order a new Arksen and have it spec'd out to my dreams, but I'm not and failing a massive Lottery win I doubt I ever will be. The cost of this "Ship" when she was on the market was roughly what I'll be able to sell my house for when I decide to retire in a decade or so and between savings and pension could make her my live aboard and even pop for a trip once or twice a year from Victoria to Alaska or Victoria to Cabo san Lucas with the possibility of doing a Hawaii and South Pacific trip at some point. I love gems like this and those Inace yachts that open up the world of Exploration yachting to your average shmuck like me. :)
I believe that Nautistyles plan to charter their boat, so most of the fuel will be a business expense that gets passed on to the customer.

I like the looks and range of the 180 I wonder what the draft is. You know me I like the shallow draft for Bahamas and coastal cruising with the long range for transpacific crossing
Worst case, if it's anything like the other Berings, it'll have skegs and full propeller protection, so you can safely run it aground. If I recall correctly, the engines on the B77 are mounted inside the hull void within the skegs, and the prop shafts are *very* short
I just luv all of the Berings but my fav is the 125 or the 145 plus Alexi is so transparent about how he builds the Bering's. Keep up the awesome work 💯💥💥
