- Ron Wood's solo stuff performed live in Kilburn 1974 with Keith Richards, Ian McLagan, Willie Weeks and Andy Newmark performing pre-New Barbarians. Special guest Rod Stewart
Badass performance of Ron, Rod, and Keith singing together on the tripple mic!
I would give an arm and a leg for that triple mic stand that Ronnie, Rod and Keef sing into. I could probably melt it into a puddle of pure rock 'n' roll.
Nobody sounds like Ronnie, his guitar playing and tone is so original solo and with FACES.
really see Ronnie, Rod, Keith
, singing all three is magical
, because they are magical and know how to convey true love for music
This is actually a song originally performed by R&B artist James Ray (penned by Rudy Clark). This is a great rendition, in any case.
Yeah, I have the 45". Found it randomly in a thrift store for ¢.25 👍
Damn good song, Today's music, has no heart or musicianship behind it.
Great post.Exceĺent sound.Thiose Guitars are sounding zo good.l can't stand the music of today. But somehow l think people are realizing that now. This type of music 🎶🎵Is where it is at.Love It. Walter B.
the original song is great but this is next level.
WOW that is great...the three of them singing together!!! haven't seen any of this before thank you for the post glad i fgound it!!!
Everyone in this video is at the top of their game
Beautiful. No time these days to hurt anybody.
Stones/Ron fan & Rod raver loves a 2 for 1 combo anytime it shows up! Good listen.
classic old school rockers. wouldn't it be nice to turn back time
I like original but these guys have a pretty good rendition of the song.
What a great find, Fantastic, Thanks for posting this
Ah it's so nostalgic! Maybe Rod should git down and damn well join The Stones now...what a great gas that band would be..the best of 1971, together at last! Jagger singing Stay With me, Rod doing the inevitable Start Me Up etc. Ah....I can see it all!
Never saw Rod Stewart and Keith on the same stage. Great find.
FOOOKKKIN AWESOME
So great beyond awesome. 💜💟💜
Great!
One of the best live performances out there !
Ronnie and Keith’s okaying are endless
💝🎸Thank You 🥳😘🎸💝
I have a bootleg of their Toronto show on video. But, it's The New Barbarians.
Yeah the Keith and Ron band was actually called the *NEW Barbarians* but they were just called "First Barbarians" on this DVD because this performance was actually a few years before they gave themselves the "New Barbarians" name. I don't think they were even an ACTUAL band yet, so I don't think they had a name at this point.
So the "First Barbarians" name is just something the DVD producers came up with, kinda like saying "BEFORE the Barbarians".
a pesar de ser antigua esta cancion es linda:
As good as it gets.
Love your weissenborn ...
You don't want to sell it ?lolll
Havec a nice year,
Florent
Unfortunately, it was sold THAT day. Biggest regret of his life :-(
Incredible. So much more passion than the studio version that was on Ronnie's first solo album. Rod's mic could have been a bit more up front but it's still great. Too bad this version has never been professionally cleaned up and released on cd. The audio on this video version is full of crackles and pops.
ronnie !!!
I concur 😁
Top men
John McKevitt Gives me goosebumps when the three get singing together. Ronnie and Keith never renowned singers but have a lot of passion. Ronnie's voice around the mid-70's was good, but he lost it, god bless him. Keith kind of adapted his and can sing pretty well these days. Rod had a voice bestowed onto him by other wordly forces! It's English booze rock at its best.
+Adam Burns i agree-something blew out what limited vocal range he had
@chromedeluxe Nope... she covered it on her fourth album but it was written by Rudy Clark.
It looks like Rod and Ron are laughing at Keith's singing at about the 2:03 mark...
@titostacos
I guess that's why the song is called "If You Gotta Make a Fool of Somebody".
0 dislikes??? wow!

イカシタ、ブリティッシュ・ロック・ガイ、ロニー・ウッド、キース、ロッドも参戦してる74年のブルージー・ソウル曲、リズム隊ウィリー・ウィークス、ニューマークがたまらない(参った)
I love Ronnie.. such a massive influence on me.. going back to 1970.. btw I don't look like my pic ..so entertaining ..cool vocal harmonies.. big BIG respect
Originally done by Ray Parker!
waiting for the tooth fairy-
try james ray 1961 cool song
Found the 45" in a thrift store for .25¢
Pedantic, I know, but this has nothing to do with the Barbarians, New or otherwise! The name "The Barbarians" was suggested by Neil Young in '79 for the band Woody pulled together, initially to promote his solo album "Gimme Some Neck) but who also played in Canada so Keith could fulfil his sentence following his drugs bust in Toronto. They couldn't use the name "The Barbarians" as there was already a band of that name in US that originated in the 60's, hence them being named "The New Barbarians"
Keith looks a bit skeletal here.
Has Rod had some work done. I swear he doesn't look that ugly now.
