  • The other day, I was talking to someone who is relatively new to working a strong Bright Line Eating program. I asked her how she was doing, and she said that she woke up that morning bright and alert at 5:30 a.m. after 7 hours of sleep, which was unusual for her. Watch the vlog to hear what I told her about how her brain is changing as a result of doing BLE.

So funny, I have been doing BLE since June, challenge, boot camp now BLifer. Today I got up, walked Max, made coffee, did devotions, meditation and started to panic, haven’t eaten my breakfast, have to get to work. Looked at the clock, 6:00 am. Whew I don’t leave till 7:30, plenty of time. Now I know why... so thankful for BLE (released 46.4 lbs as of today as well...)😊

I've been doing the BLE 14 day challenge and have been waking at 730am on the dot lately. I've always told people 'I'm not a morning person, so don't bug me before 1030am and my first coffee'. Ha ha but lately I've been that morning person, working out and so productive before lunch. Now I know why. I love it. Feeling freeeeeeeeeee. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

I absolutely love your vlogs. I'm just a couple of months into BLE, but plan to be a Bright Lifer once I reach maintenance. I deeply appreciate all of the learning opportunities you share - it's so powerful to learn and begin to really understand, at a deeper level, the connection between brain, body, habits and nutrition. Thank you so much for all that you do.

Love this content! I would be curious to know more like how a late dinner might affect this, etc

2 months is a lot longer than I thought it would take to reset circadian rhythm lol

I work nights. My room is completely dark when I'm sleeping due to velcro blackout shades and I sleep hard for at least 8 hours. I have been unable to get my eating in order though. I usually eat w/in 1-2 hrs of waking up and have meals and snacks until right before bed. Sometimes not hungry, just eating. Any suggestions for meal timing? I work 830p-5a, usually sleep 530a-2p. Thank you.

Interested in advice how to time meals switching from day to night time sleeping. I am a night shift nurse 3-4 nights a week

Hi Rachel, This would be a great question to ask Susan on a LIVE Q&A or Facebook Live. If you're on Facebook, make sure you're following Bright Line Eating to be able to join Susan live. 💛

Susan, Thank you for talking about science (in both this and the previous vlog)!!! One request: PLEASE stop naming foods! It’s so triggering to me.
With utmost respect for all you do 😊
