    Really needed to hear this vlog this evening! Experienced my own binge this evening after being bright for 52 days. Was feeling pretty awful. After listening I will reflect on what triggered my behavior, what emotions I'm not dealing with. Thank you SPT for not being perfect but being UnstoppaBLE!!

    I got adrenal fatigue from being overstressed, Susan. I was Overwhelmed by my life, I had no balance. I lost My goal of keeping focus on my wellness. So much stress through work, single moon of two boys, ex-husband, kids, house cleaning, bills, care taking a dieing relative My body kept score. Gained so much weight. You aren’t alone!!!! Love your honesty honesty honesty, is the key why we all love you Susan!

    Thank you for your complete honesty. I started BLE 9 days ago and the way you talk about your experience, and your openness convinces me even more that this is a great direction for me to travel in too. Just knowing that you are honest enough to own your choices in public is so awe inspiring. I have had decades of hiding my food issues, and completely understand how hard this is .

    Thank you Susan!! I can do relate to it all - the protein shakes, cough drops and nutritional yeast after decades of abstaining from them in 12 step programs. “For a lot of us it’s just never going to be perfect”. Thank you for your humanness. I so appreciate how thoughtful and honest you are. Working on “loving what is”.

    Love this and love you!!! I fall off the horse in so many areas of my life - thank you for being real and honest and such an inspiration. I can't wait for your videos and when I'm not taking care of myself and letting addictive behaviours control my body and mind, I check back in with them and feel reinvigorated! You don't have to be perfect you just need to be an example of how to get back on the horse... That's even better than perfect. Your eating plans have already changed my whole thought processes about food and sugar and flour. Thanks so much for everything you share with the world, thanks so much for being real and thanks so much for committing to getting back on that horse!!! Lots of love from Australia.

    I had one of the worst binges since being on BLE (3 weeks now). It is so comforting to hear you be so real about this and it gives me hope to get back to my plan tomorrow morning.

    • @Brightlineeating
      @Brightlineeating  7 років тому +3

      Dearest Annalise, you're not alone! I have been there... My team members have been there... Our community has been there... Take comfort in knowing that you're in good company. That said, know that there is hope! Look at what happened during the day or evening prior to the binge. What was the trigger? What can you do to love and support yourself in the future that will give you the tools you need to make a different choice.
      You can do this! Sending you tons of love, XOXO

    My dear Susan, thank you for sharing your journey and its authenticity. I want to share that I had once taken a 10 week course on integrity. We spent 10 weeks with one sentence. That sentence was, "Without integrity nothing works." You are demonstrating true integrity in this. Whenever we don't maintain our integrity, the key to restore is to admit to the break and then work to clean up asap. When we do this, it shows up as respect for the self and from others. As humans, we are flawed and many as you stated will occasionally struggle with breaking their lines. The true growth for them is their ability to quickly admit and acknowledge their break and move forward. This is what you teach and your example. I wanted to show my respect to you for being authentic and maintaining integrity with yourself and the community. That is what integrity is all about. Much love to you and thank you for all you do and the positive impact this has been for my husband and me. Marlene Baldwin...Just realized this was attached to my former name in UA-cam.😄

    One thing that helps with cough and dry throat is 1 T of apple cider vinegar in a small amount of water. Also continuing to drink as much water as you can. The apple cider vinegar helps with digestion and colds
