Ok, I take it back. I bit the bullet and bought on sale today. This past week's Update makes it a whole different animal. I definitely recommend it if you want something different for a lower entry price. They got rid of the 407 sounds, it definitely flies like a "lightened" 407, they added the G3X and some other QoL changes. I've left a bunch of comments on their Discord of things that would put this one up there with Cowan Sim. I like it more and more and more each time I fly it.
I tend to agree that it isn’t my cup of tea (as i like full depth, immersive machines) but i like seeing designers expand the variety of models across all complexity levels, esp. if they offer good “value for money.”
@@alancookuk8154 I what you mean. Maybe this is a good pick for someone with XBOX MSFS since players generally have tiny, imprecise joysticks for control,l. Maybe that’s the target segment. 🤔
I bought it the day it appeared on the marketplace. It may not be absolute top level, but for the money it ticks ALL my boxes. No regrets buying it...

It looks nice and easy to fly, a good beginner helicopter for those that find spinning in circles annoying 😊 nice.

@@baomao7243 I’m actually on the Xbox X and usually fly the heli’s using the controller more than I do with the Velocityone Flightstick
