It would be nice to see a decal installed on a smaller diameter rod. I just went through both supplied decals plus one from a previous build and could not get any of the three to lay down. The first one peeled up while under epoxy. The next two would not lay completely flat no matter how gentle I was with them. I had to write the model on the blank by hand in silver paint. The blank is a 9' 5 WT Eternity 2. Will this void the warranty?
Hi Brendon. Handwriting label info on Rainshadow blanks will never void the warranty. If you go through multiple decals and suspect they're defective or damaged (exposed to too much heat during shipping etc.) you can always reach out to our warranty folks at batsonenterprises.com/warranty-support. We can send replacement decals made on the printer in our marketing department. They have a larger area of clear backing and usually adhere better than the factory decals.
One other trick we'll use with stubborn decals is to effectively "glue" the edges down after decal application using one or two coats of color preserver, letting it dry completely before finish coat is laid down. Hope this helps!

Do the the Rainshadow blanks come with decals?
Yes, all Rainshadow Rod Blanks come with a decal. If you are missing a decal please contact us on BatsonEnterprises.com. Every once in a while there may be a missing decal for one reason or another. Thanks

That is mostly correct. Batson only sells rod blanks and components wholesale direct. The only retail items available on the site are the Team Rainshadow Gear items (logo wear primarily.)
