Thank you for the info. I use old shaving gel cans. They're a smaller diameter and haven't had an issue yet🤞 When I saw the pipes, I immediately thought of Donn Yost. I learned a lot watching his videos! RIP Donn!
Cool stands the two post type is a lot like my old micro mark paint stand...the pipe nipple style reminds me of the old man, Donn Yost he always used those style... It really comes down to what your comfortable with...weather models or full size cars I have a varitey of paint stands and a lot are home made don't need to break the bank to be good and useful. 👍
great info. good choices. like you said, you have to find out what works best for you. the coat hangers work well for me, i tried pipe stands, not so good. i also have flat stock like the one you bolted to the wood but they are not bolted to anything. kind of like reverse BBQ tongs. anyways, Mopars to ya!!

Great video, paint stands and ideas are always a good thing. I use the Tamiya one but I’ve had some issues…normally paint paddles are my go to
