Welcome to the world of RC helicopters! Always nice to see a new heli pilot push thru the wall and learn how to fly, pretty brutal learning curve which is why there is so few of us around....once you know how to fly the sky will never look the same again!

Thank you very much for this nice welcome! Yes it was a steep learning curve! Not just the flying - that was most challenging - but as well Transmitter programming, things like Edge TX, the setup of my first kit heli, the M4. Lipo battery handling.... But every step was and is rewarding. and I even love that the process of learning will continue as long as I am living. And yes! The sky does not look the same!! Happy flights and best greetings!

I'm 60 started when I was 50. Definitely not God's gift to flying but I do love it. Wait till you get a 700, and you will.

Hi Jimmy! Yes I guess that I started the age you are now, with 60 did not make it easier from the skill side. But maybe with age one gets a bit more patient? And you are right: my M4 made my passion for flying even much stronger! And I already feel that the M7 will be fanastic! I love the blade sound of these 700's. Already the 400's sound great. But a 700 must be unbelievable!! I can't wait to get my hands on it!!

Thanks for your nice words and wishes after just one video, Andy. We have a lot of wind here in Poland at the moment - I even like it because wind has always been my best teacher: Reaction, avoiding over control etc. The next episode will contain flying in those winds! See U :)

I think we have the same passion for this small niche market, Matthias! 😃You are more than welcome to watch my earliest videos on my channel as you wish. I remember my flybarred days to finally getting my first flybarless bird. All those darn Blade models and then one day thanks to a partial trade with Mark Konop, I got my first flights with my OMP Hobby Explore and never looked back. I remember flying the Explore the first time and landing and thinking, "Where were you all my life?" 😃 Only then was when I found out about the direct main motor drive... I was actually looking for the main gear and pinion! 😄 Great intro and I like everyone else I looked forward to your future videos! Welcome to UA-cam! 😊

For sure we have the same passion and love for this great hobby. I was mad at myself when I received my firt OMP heli - like in your case the M2 Explore. I was buying a Blade 230S V2 just two month before - the M2 was on the market then - i just did not know it... Ijust love these birds and cant wait to get my M4 built and in the air. Thanks for you encouraging words and I will definitely watch your videos!! :)

OMP M2 is fine. No need to hype it, if you are not in 3D aerobatics. For scale models, the ability to gear down or install different ESC is an advantage the OMP won`t offer. I own OPM M2 and M1 aswell. I would prefer them for an simple 2-blade build. For multiblade, Horizon`s 150S and 230S are better choice. The SMART series offer telemetry on top.

@@p.r.5628 Gearing down is something I did not think about. And I guess my next step will be a rather simple two blade scale build. For the beginning I guess its much easier to setup. Thanks for the tips!

@@p.r.5628 He can do what he pleases on his own channel. To say a multiblade head is better on any micro Blade helicopter is laughable. I have had a multitude of Blade models in my hobby past and nothing they make is even comparable to the quality of OMP Hobby... 2 bladed or more. The reason upgrade companies like Microheli started was because of the lack of quality of the micro Blade models.
