I am a complete newbie to Lawncare. Never really cared about my lawn before and still don't. But I would like to make it look a little better for cheap and no hassle. I have lots of weeds, dandelions, purple things, poppyseeds etc. It's a mess. Is there a one time thing I can spray on it to get rid of most of it? I really don't want to keep buying stuff and wasting time on it. I have a really small lawn filled with critters, insects, skunks, rabbits, etc that chew it up. My neighbors have nice lawns and don't seem to do any annual maintenance in terms of weeds. So can you treat it once and never again to get most of them out?
@@elllelf steal nutrients? So what! If you don't want them to steal nutrients then get rid of them in the spot where you want a specific plant to get nutrients and not the weeds. And yea, some of them can get tall. That's what lawn mowers and scythes are for.
I have all the grassy weeds in my Bermuda lawn. It's really taken a lot of different products to combat them.

Can't you just dig them out roots and all or will they just come back.
You defintiely can for most of them. Repat removal may be necessary for some
If it’s green and a perennial it stays in my lawn.
How about Bermuda?
What type of test do your products kill pest pest
Can I get an answer to my question or did I miss it already
How about bent grass. It takes over everything.
Bent grass is used by most northern golf courses. It creates one of the best carpets and can be trimmed incredibly low.
And what is wrong with them? They're green and they almost look like grass! What's the point of killing them with these chemicals?
They steal nutrients from your lawn. Also, some grassy weeds get very tall, quickly. This creates an uneven lawn.
Are you kidding? Lol. Have you ever had an infestation of grassy weeds in your lawn?
@@s.hicks7213 I've never had a lawn that had grass, only "weeds' and there was never an infestation, not even once.
