You can tell that this song captured the night of the Royal Albert Hall charity concert for Aiden. The immensity of the orchestral elements have that same feel. Amazing song.

@@k8ne0456 Aiden was a childhood friend of Oli Sykes who passed from Cancer last year. The song is about not knowing what to say when someone knows they're going to die becuase you can't just say "Its all gonna be okay" anymore.

I agree, he has such great lyrics, but imo on the past he got so repetitive with depression and that kind of lyrics, but yeah, he does really good writting, and i think that amo is where his lyrics are on their best. This tune must he a masterpiece in all the ways, the lyrics are so fuckin’ strong and deep, love it. Cheers up to Lee for that stunning guitar solo

everyone is acting like this is like any pop record out right now. i mean come on guys, the record is still bmth, its still got those rich, emotional themes written all over this thing mixed with some mature topics, its still got its edge to it, maybe not as much as it did, but thats not a bad thing. experimenting with a darker, grimier pop sound is exactly what feels natural for the band, especially coming of Spirit. it still has enough edge from the production to make sure it couldnt have come of Ariana Grande’s Sweetener and fitted well, or linkin park in 2006. it sits in a nice place where its still bmth. its a good record, not perfect, but a good record.

The comparison comes from a place of experimentation, not quality. Amo is BMTH's DSOTM because of it's "out there" choices in songwritting and how the album is tied as a whole .
I do agree with you that they are not on the same realm musically speaking. One album relies on electro pop experimentation, the other on more progressive sounds. Dark Side Of The Moon is and will always be an untouchable masterpiece but I more often than not use it as a point of reference or standard to compare to other albums in terms of how x or y record feels cohesively and the atmosphere it brings to the table for the listener.

@dahliablack9017 If it's true, i hope she is, but unfortunately, a lot of comments like these are used for likes for cheap dopamine

Lyrics are so fuckin’ strong and deep, and you can feel Oli’s feelings while he sings. Such a great tune.
Also cheers up for Lee who played the best guitar solo i heard this year, fuckin’ brilliant and powerful

This song is underrated. One of the best from the whole album. So many emotions, I always get the chills. I just feel this song. Thank you

Never have I heard this topic dealt with in song quite so brilliantly. The lyrics are, frankly, perfection. The emotion in the strings, the brutal, completely un-caring guitar solo, the complete love that comes across for the person the song was written about, it just hits the feeling perfectly.
Anyone who's lost someone to a long, ravaging illness knows these feelings, and Oli and the band managed to not only capture that essence but make an absolutely gorgeous tribute to it.
Best song on the album, possibly one of their best songs, and imo one of the best songs of all time.

Agreed, when the album first came out I wouldn't even give it a chance, but now I totally get it. This is probably my favourite song by these guys, everything about it is perfect

Rest in Peace Brandon Florio. Bring Me The Horizon was the first band we ever talked about and these lyrics resonate so much more now. You fought until the very end and can rest easy now.

Such an emotional song. The strings and synths, the vocals, absolutetly beautiful. This band is top tier and nobody can tell me otherwise
