I heard this song for the first time at a very dark time in my life. Alone away from my family away from my son and drunk at 9am the morning before Thanksgiving... The next day i decided to pull through and do something positive to snap out if it, i volunteered my day of Thanksgiving at a homeless shelter serving meals to those in need, things have been getting better and better ever since and im at an amazing point in my life currently. Back with my son and with a career i only imagined i could achieve. This song is bittersweet to me that brings up bad memories but also reminds me how far ive come. Great track and a great reminder that life and positivety is a beautiful thing

I like both the heavier and softer sides of BMTH either way they are still BMTH and all of the people saying it's not "real" BMTH are idiots they've literally said they are constantly changing their sound, deal with it. I love this song. It's nothing special because I am a BMTH fan. But when I played this song in my car full of people, when each of them had different taste for music, everyone agreed that this song is perfect, that's what makes this band special.

Blindly praising or hating artists does literally nothing ( yet that’s the entire comment section on all of these songs, shame ), criticism ( unbiased, obviously ) helps the artist know what to do and what not to do in their future work, which is very important for this band especially since they’re changing genres. Hard work doesn’t mean shit if the result is garbage. I’m hoping you already knew this, and you just made poor word choices. I’m surprised how many people are baffled by the hate these songs are getting; you’re obviously gonna have a lot of pissed off people, because this album basically alienated anyone who liked their old style.

If it was stuff like “oh I don’t like how this was mixed” or “the production isn’t great” then that’s fine, however if it’s purely because it’s not your style then that becomes a bit dumb. Lots of people are saying they've been fans for years and this album is letting them down... Like... Nobody's making you listen to them anymore. You aren't obligated to like their new sound,but you shouldn't be shitting on a band you've loved for years because they've changed. Go find some other group that is more in tune with BMTH's older sound and enjoy that and let people enjoy this.
this is the song that plays in a cartoon or anime when all the main characters are figuring out different things either relating to the plot or their own personal arcs, then tryna find each other right before running into the big bad for one of the most climatic confrontations of that series. All this, of course, before ending on a cliffhanger.

this bands music has been a soundtrack for a lot of my life. im not the type of person to say any band saved me directly, but it definitely helped me remember that there are others besides myself who feel the way I do and that i wasn't alone. listening to suicide season at the age of 8-9 before my first hospitalization, to listening to the newer albums and finding so much that hits close to home in the moments i need to release some tension. now im 20, and have been diagnosed with D.I.D, mild psychotic features, anorexia, and high functioning autism. its also pretty common for me to have moments of severe panic and paranoia without any specific triggers. i have plenty of coping skills, music being one of my most favored and helpful. bmth is still my to go band to get me through the bad times and probably always will be. thanks so much you guys. its been one hell of a ride, but your albums have helped me a lot. :)

was a really good fan of the previous album from these guys. I was kinda sad to see them leave the hard punk/metalcore genre but in all honesty, they've completely blown my expectations with this album. Was pleasantly surprised, love the new direction and I think it completely works for them. Great album, and a fantastic track. Also love the lyric videos.

Okay I just became a fan yesterday and I'm really digging both their old and new sounds. Gosh this is such a unique band I love it

Es tu opinión y es válida, pero considero que uno puede escuchar muchos estilos y de eso se trata, pero de ahí a que bandas que escuchas transmuten a otro género, eso me parece un bodrio. Es como escuchar tu banda de cumbia favorita y que de un momento a otro se pasen a la opera, para algunos es valido, pero para mi no lo es. Es mi opinión no una realidad.

@Agus Souto Yo no soy de mente cerrada en cuanto a música, estoy dispuesto a escuchar pop y electrónica, mi conflicto aquí con AMO es que teniendo 2 guitarras, batería y bajo y los dejan muy de lado en el álbum, si esto fuera un proyecto aparte de Oliver y Jordan, sería perfecto pero como BANDA no lo es tanto, tiene canciones buenas lo acepto, Nihilist blues me gusto pero más como canción de Grimes y no de BMTH.

I love this song. It's nothing special because I am a BMTH fan. But when I played this song in my car full of people, when each of them had different taste for music, everyone agreed that this song is perfect, that's what makes this band special.
I stumbled across this searching for Billy Squire’s “In The Dark,” but I’ve got to say... This is badass and well worth the mishap.

I think what people need to realize it YES their sound is changing!!! And I understand that some of you guys are upset obviously because it’s not the bmth you’re used to, but at the same time, who are we to judge their music? It’s their creation, and we shouldn’t be critical of that you know? They put a lot of time and effort into it, no matter the genre
‘We shouldn’t be critical of that’ Hell no. Criticism is very important when it comes to art, especially in this situation. Blindly praising or hating artists does literally nothing ( yet that’s the entire comment section on all of these songs, shame ), criticism ( unbiased, obviously ) helps the artist know what to do and what not to do in their future work, which is very important for this band especially since they’re changing genres. Hard work doesn’t mean shit if the result is garbage. I’m hoping you already knew this, and you just made poor word choices.
I’m surprised how many people are baffled by the hate these songs are getting; you’re obviously gonna have a lot of pissed off people, because this album basically alienated anyone who liked their old style.
VICTORY ! That’s very true, and I do respect your point. With this being said, the criticism isn’t something they can fix and I think that’s what’s getting to me. If it was stuff like “oh I don’t like how this was mixed” or “the production isn’t great” then that’s fine, however if it’s purely because it’s not your style then that becomes a bit dumb. At the end of the day, they aren’y going to change their style just because some people don’t like it. So while I do entirely get your point that criticism is needed, when you’re purely complaining about the whole sound of the album, it becomes pointless because they’ve clearly stated that they aren’t changing because it’s not someones music taste! I hope this isn’t coming off as rude because I don’t mean to be so my apologies if it comes off that way :-)
Lots of people are saying they've been fans for years and this album is letting them down... Like... Nobody's making you listen to them anymore. You aren't obligated to like their new sound,but you shouldn't be shitting on a band you've loved for years because they've changed. Go find some other group that is more in tune with BMTH's older sound and enjoy that and let people enjoy this.

this is the song that plays in a cartoon or anime when all the main characters are figuring out different things either relating to the plot or their own personal arcs, then tryna find each other right before running into the big bad for one of the most climatic confrontations of that series. All this, of course, before ending on a cliffhanger.

Y al ser una canción de amor, también me hace recordar a todos los crush que tuve, como muchas veces cambie mi realidad, para mejor cabe recalcar, solo por ellas, creyendo que iba a recibir su amor, pero no no fue así. this bands music has been a soundtrack for a lot of my life. im not the type of person to say any band saved me directly, but it definitely helped me remember that there are others besides myself who feel the way I do and that i wasn't alone. listening to suicide season at the age of 8-9 before my first hospitalization, to listening to the newer albums and finding so much that hits close to home in the moments i need to release some tension. now im 20, and have been diagnosed with D.I.D, mild psychotic features, anorexia, and high functioning autism. its also pretty common for me to have moments of severe panic and paranoia without any specific triggers. i have plenty of coping skills, music being one of my most favored and helpful. bmth is still my to go band to get me through the bad times and probably always will be. thanks so much you guys. its been one hell of a ride, but your albums have helped me a lot. :)

was a really good fan of the previous album from these guys. I was kinda sad to see them leave the hard punk/metalcore genre but in all honesty, they've completely blown my expectations with this album. Was pleasantly surprised, love the new direction and I think it completely works for them. Great album, and a fantastic track. Also love the lyric videos.
