As a parent I wish I had two more hands to give this bike four thumbs up! But, the most important question is, will your kids like it?
In this video we take the EE 5 to our practice track for the first time and shake it down really good to see what Rennen thinks of it. Rennen is a good thrash tester, so we let him have at it with only lowering the seat height to see what he thinks. A short interview at the track, and a wrap-up at the shop will give you the hard facts about the new Husqvarna EE 5 electric motocross bike for kids aged 3-8.
Super good idea to get him thinking and discussing suspension and engine performance at a young age, as that will benefit him greatly in the future if he decides to pursue a career in motorsports.
Great video. Ive been so hesitant with the perceived lack of run time and no hot swap battery, but after seeing what reality is with a KTM mini 50 and the amount of maintenance, Im looking hard at a e50 to add to the stable. The fact that they are killing it in scrambles and trails is a huge bonus
I’m glad you found this useful and is exactly what I was going for. I had the Cobra JR and rarely did we use it because I just don’t have the time for the maintenance. Even the maintenance on the KTM’s is going to be more than I had time for. It’s the ultimate kids bike and is so versatile in my opinion

Do you have a video of the lower suspension? Also thank you for the informative video! My young kids ride as well!
These are all I have, the lower settings will lower it about an inch or so, which might not be low enough for younger kids. A 10” front wheel would really help drop it down more

@@John5XR I think we are starting to see why the PeeWee 50’s have lasted so long, they actually work...
They do, but also need their maintenance to stay working. The biggest thing about the pw is that he was pushing it way harder than I thought safe with jumps. There’s very little suspension and on the stuff he wants to do, I thought it was getting dangerous! Lol

Debating between this and and the TC 50 for my 6yr.... What kind of run time are you getting in power mode 3?
If he rides hard, probably around 45-minutes. Taking a few water and coaching breaks, and transit back and forth from our house to the track at our neighbors down the street probably like an hour. If you’re not at the track a lot, this is the clear choice over the TC50
Damn I saw this late. As long as daughter is smiling I'm happy. (TC 50 mini 23 but E5 double the cost scared me away as I'm cheap lol)
I cheaped out TC 50 mini lol. Yes that e5 better but double the price literally & I couldn't justify spending that much. I didn't realise how much better they were at the time
The TC50 is a great bike, i went with the electric because we have a backyard track and there’s no way my neighbors would love us if we had a fast 50 buzzing around!
