Welcome to Amity Tracks. This is a channel where we discuss a wide range of music related topics. The focus will be on music from the 1960’s through the 1990’s, but not exclusively. Classic rock, progressive rock, psychedelic rock, hard rock, jazz, blues, folk, country, soul…all genres are fair game. From time to time we may dabble in other popular culture, such as film, history or sports. But music is primarily what we do here. The focus is on the music and the artists. We hope to encourage an open and dynamic community with fun and informative discussions not only in the videos, but also in the comments section. Please note that, while disagreement and discussion is welcome, no personal attacks or out of bounds comments will be tolerated. We want to be a part of the positive larger vinyl community and other like-minded, music focused communities.

Great video!! I’m still hoping Warren Zevon makes it in one of these years. Incidentally, have your editor check your video numbers: I think this is number 187, not 127.
I doubt my favourites will ever get in but I think they are deserving. Over 50 years, 26 studio albums, the last of which was only released last May and went to No. 7 in the combined chart and No. 1 in the physical charts here in the UK. I'm talking about SPARKS.
Kind of funny Ian McDonald gets in before Robert Fripp. But frankly, I was sorry when the Velvet Underground was belatedly admitted. Something about them being snubbed that well defined what “alternative” was all about. I think the last chance for the Hall to be cool was when the Clash was scheduled to perform, only to have Joe Strummer die a week before.
