May as well just use scrim bedded with easy fill or joint filler then skim over with toupret ready mix joint and skim , levels out really well and sands so easy
Tapers go wider because they are feathering out bevel edge boards not just shrinkage type cracks
Its all about trying different things my freind, time will tell how well it works. it seemed to work well. i need to try the Toupret ready mixed joint and skim, how long does it take to go hard so it can be filled again. Cheers.
@@Inexteriors build up with easy fill , then final skim with the toupret , not to long all depends on depth and temperature,
I use it for fine imperfections dents and bumps , it’s great gear
Always have some in the van , a bucket lasts forever and doesn’t go of
Toupret or knauff, knauff I'd better in my opinion,
Good video steven, well explained and informative 👍
Leaving IN the outakes, makes it more real life, always learning.Keep it up🎥
Thankyou.
Another good vid matie
Thank you very much.
Hello mate. I hope your well and good video but always use the orange scrim to stick on first then fill over that and yes go wider to blend in lol. That tape should be stuck on first not over filler as scrim as tiny holes in it that tape is like a thin masking tape so take no notice of what phil says. Also check to see if its cracked on an upright timber behind as may only need a few screws to stop it bouncing.
It was a wooden house so there will be movement, there wasn't loads to be fair.
