Bedec is a great brand, I sometimes use the white gloss for soffit and fascia boards and the black gloss is great on drain pipes etc. Another informative video 👍
Love bedec, I've fairly recently gone over to their All Prime as it's a good solid, stain blocking primer at a decent price. As far as i can tell it's exactly the same as zinsser aqua at a fraction of the cost. Just found your channel buddy so gonna binge watch through the week! 😂
@Inexteriors that's a good attitude to have. We can all learn from each other. Too many guys I speak to in the merchants and on site don't want to learn, they think their way is the only way but for me, everyday is a school day. There's alot of new tech and tonnes of new products out there, we can't possibly know it all without a little help. 👍
Not got the sheen level of oil gloss… unless someone insists , I’ll never use the stuff…. Call me a dinosaur if you want , but I want to see a finish with minimal brush marks and a high gloss finish
@@glov961able definitely generational as my parents are gloss through and through but I far prefer satin for its understated look. My favourite finish is Dulux Trade (oil) satinwood as it looks great and is bombproof, only yellowing where there is zero natural light. However the smell, drying times and cleanup are a nightmare. Have been using Dulux Heritage (water based) eggshell recently which has more of a satin finish and I must say side by side they are very similar. I can get 2-3 coats on in a day and no white spirit required so if it proves durable we may have a winner.

I agree, it does have a time and a place. it is a good product.
I think it must be a generational thing…. All my younger customers want a soft satin finish, but my elderly customers always want high gloss…
I dont use a lot of gloss to be honest, its just good to try all different products.@@glov961able
