Stephanie Springer ok I saw it... well she said she was "Sorry he was in jail" ( which maybe her feelings but morally isn't right) 2) She did a "stand ovation " indeed she did along side a few others in the video I watched.
Yes she was wrong ( even though it is her feelings) ... which I for sure do not agree with at ALL.
Now after all that do I still think she is an amazing actor/actress yes I do. Even though I do not agree with everything she has a person may do I do respect all the roles she's played.

I never thought of it, but it's true - Diane was the original manic pixie dream girl. That caught the public's interest, but her longevity is because she's also a damned good actress. IMO, on par with Streep.

I adore Diane Keaton, and she's a wonderful actress, but reducing Woody Allen, one of the most brilliant and prolific film artists in history, to the role of a presenter and not a recipient of this award is just insulting. I suppose his personal life makes some people uncomfortable, but who cares? This is supposed to be about art, not just a popularity contest. Isn't it?
Why should that bother you? If there's anyone who has played a major role in the film life of Keaton, it's Woody Allen. She, herself, credits so much to him, so I think it only fitting he should present the award.
One of the requirements for this ceremony is the presence of the honoree, and Woody hates awards shows. It's very likely he has been offered it and turned it down.
