Here’s a deal 8k off a limited tundra little to nothing down on a lease is around 600 a month. Might get better in the next coming months but that’s a solid deal with a good payment
Pray for me, brothers. I just leased a 24 Tundra TRD Sport Premium with some extras. I wasnt shopping Tundras since last I checked, the prices/payments were too high. I went to my dealer looking for a long Tacoma, which they didn't have. They offered me $6500 discount and a decent lease. Abt 40/ mo increase from my gen2 limited. After kicking myself for a week for being so dumb, I've now decided to just enjoy it and not worry about having a 1 in 300 time bomb. After having leased 4 gen 2s, I really do like this new truck. No other full size deals were appealing to me, and I was worried a mid size would be too small for my business.
Those new Tundras are junk compared to the last model with the V8 Where I live Holman Toyota can't sell them fast enough they have twenty on the lot for two months straight
Toyota went from selling some of the best made trucks and suv"s to making junk. They had super reliable long lasting vehicles with the 4 runner and tacoma V6 engines, now they have unproven Turbo 4's . The Tundra had a great V 8, now a V6 that self implodes. THere is no way that an engine that relies on a turbo will ever last as long as a naturally aspirated engine.
I have been bashing the new Tundra’s for the engine failures, but the 2024’s have a very few engine failures. Toyota must discount the new Tundra’s 10k minimum plus offer a 10 year unlimited warranty in order to sell them. I predict Toyota will surprise all of us with a major special offers before the end of summer.
No way would I touch one of these with 15k discounts. May do a zero down $400 a month on a capstone. Then if it blows up at least I can dump it on them. These are basically like the Mercedes and Audi Evs gotta pay me to take it. This is working out exactly as I said which is why I still have my 22 lime Tacoma pro manual with 4k miles and my lime 4 runner pro. Making bank. Carvan offered me $5400 over last months number on my Tacoma and little Kenny channel had 2023 17k mile pros for 60k and 64k mile 2021 off roads at 45k. What a disaster.

I know not the typical buyer but I drive the vehicle until it is not worth fixing or someone offers me enough money to buy it. Everything I own is for sale just not on sale. Like I said when the nightmare was revealed….the Tundra is dead. I hate to see this happen but in a couple months, do a video of the sales drop and the inventory pilling up. What an absolute PR nightmare for this truck. I hate to see it.
The bottom is falling out of the markt. Not surprised... I'd still wait until they are all up on the hoists gutted to buy. Better deals down the road....
I believe the 2024 Tundra is going to have the same engine issues just like the 2022 & 2023. Dealers don’t want to take trade in on these trucks. If you can’t get 15,000 to 20,000 off MSRP then don’t buy one.
I would jump into one right now knowing Toyota is going to guarantee these motors until 100,000 miles. The issues are happening soon enough that if you make it to 100K you aren't going to have the issues. The prices on these trucks are outrageous and if you can get one for $15K even $20K off because of the recalls do it! As for me and my 2021 Tundra TRD Pro...we cool.
There's way more smoke than fire here. Once it blows over, resale value will climb and discounts will get more inventory on the road. Still beats the big3, IMHO.
@@sharkskin3448 for just recalled over half 1 million Ford trucks. Apparently transmission failures. To think that Toyota is the only one having problems you out of your mind. No matter where you go at this point every vehicle is a piece of trash. Your hop is is to get the one that’s less trashy.
While at a toyota dealership yesterday waiting for a new battery that was still under warranty, they called me to make me an offer on my 21 tundra pro lunar rock. He starts by saying you have very good equity and if wanted it to trade in. I ask what the offer was, and he said 35k trade value. I said its just under 25k miles and ask him for 58k and I'll make a deal. He said no but offered me 0% apr. On the way home, i thought about it and what if they would've accepted my offer. I dont think I would've done it. They did have some huge discouts, especially on the hybrids, but i can't get rid of my 21, I just can't.

I don't know about you guys, but I think I will keep my 2017 Tundra and won't touch a new one until 2026, maybe even 2027 once Toyota learns their lesson on this.
Most comments are a short sighted outlook on Toyota’s future and seemed to be ready to throw in tow. These types of quality issues are serious. Toyota will learn from this and become an even stronger company. Toyota has grown to be the largest automaker in the world because they are an organization that admits to having an issue and finds a solution.
Since Toyota doesn't even know what they're going to do for the recalled Tundras, how can anyone determine if a roughly 6% discount from MSRP is enough?
Great question. This video was created to set a baseline going forward as we continue to watch and wait for the remedy. I want to see if and how much the recall affects the discounts. So far, these are the discounts I’ve been seeing all year. Second, some folks aren’t letting the recall deter their 2024 Tundra purchase plans. I’ve seen purchasing kick right back up already on some of the message boards and through my own viewer interaction. Have a great start to your weekend and thanks for watching!
Other guys on here are saying the 24s are affected as well. is that true? If not it’d be hard to turn down a platinum or 1794 if they come down more closer to the years end….
Who in their right mind would buy a Tundra at this time. Resale will be very worrisome while owning under WARRANTY no less after. I’ve owned Tundras since 2005 and breakdowns were the least of my worries. Keeping my 2016 Limited and my piece of mind.👍 Toyota will have to back to Old School Reliability and Dependability before I budge back to buying another Toyota. 🫣😬
I think Ive exhausted videos about the problems. Nothing left to say until the remedy is announced. Look back from May 30th forward. Also, this video is to see if the recent recall is affecting the pricing/deals. Ive done a Tundra enthusiast UA-cam Channel for 8 years, of course im pro toyota and pro tundra. Plenty of anti new gen stuff out there for you to check out!
Exploding engines, horrible screeching squealing brakes, terrible AC...I'm still waiting on the supposed brake fix....I can't even use the safe in my center console because they refuse to reset the combo or provide a key. Toyota = greed and dishonesty. Reliability rating = F-. They should lower MSRP by 20k what the fuck are they thinking?
The new truck discount must equal or likely exceed the depreciation or trade-in decline from what dealers will consider buying a damaged asset. Otherwise consumers aren’t going to invest in them or else they’ll be upside down on the next truck.
I think this tundra will end up like the ford 6.0 powerstroke. As more of these engines fail more people will know and you will have to damn near give them away.
You kept using the wrong word. You kept saying "savings" There is no savings. Here is the truth and I'm that guy that has been saying this for nearly 2 years. These thing need to come down on all trims 6-8K more and that would be the normal, full price. Savings begin to happen when you start getting it to that point and go down from there. Toyota will get them down there or they will go bankrupt.
If you believe your price is correct and the 2024 are not affected with the recall, why drop the prices. Guilty! If you buy a 2024 thinking it is not affected, cause otherwise it will be illegal to sell a vehicle under recall, then it is on you. Don’t get upset later.
Just an fyi, discounts have been around all year. It doesn’t look like, at this point, the recall has hardcore affected discounts. We are still in a wait and see for when the remedy comes out. Then we will see how the crowd reacts and if discounts deepen
I literally sold my 07 Tundra the day before I found out about the recall. I've been planning to buy a 24 limited TRD Lunar Rock for two years. I don't know what to do...
I'm loyal to Toyota trucks , I'm sticking with them no matter the situation! Everyone else can jump ship and sink! When I'm driving the great looking tundra everyone else will be driving there big looser 3 s!!! And they will see me in my tundra and be wishing they had one but they will be stuck in the big 3 junkers,!!!
Im pretty certain Toyota truck owners, regardless of year/gen/configuration, are fiercely loyal. The crazy part is in the Toyota world old gen vs new gen is a real civil war, even long before the recall 🤣
@@TundraDude34yes sir, you are correct. Was finally able to secure a beautiful ‘21 LR TRD Pro, that I flew to Memphis to purchase. 1 owner, 36K miles for $55K. Drove it back to Tulsa last Fri. Had my body & paint guy look at a few things on it and found out it had been wrecked, and would cost $9,500 to properly repair, despite a totally clean Carfax. I loaded it on a transport today and it’s on its way back to Memphis as I type this for a full refund. Depressing watching it pull away, but won’t make that mistake again😂
They are still trying to get money out of the consumer. Those prices are still high and still selling it with a possible problem motor on the 2024. Let see if the problem rolls over into 2024 Tundra. The 2025 Tundra coming out soon and they haven't even come out with a solution to their junk engine problem yet. The problem was caused by cheaper metal machined parts and blaming it on metal shavings left in the engine block. LOL!!!. I watch and listen to the UA-cam people that has been doing damage control for Toyota on their channel. Like Toyota really cares about these UA-camr's! LOL!!! You could not even give me a Tundra for free. What Toyota needs to do is buy back every Tundra that was sold in the last 2 plus years from the owner's, if they owner want to sell them back. Remember during COVID times, how much they added money onto the sticker prices. 10K-20K more!
I like the video, but I won’t buy a Toyota Tundra till at least 2027 model year. Maybe by then they will work out all of the issues or better yet will have gone back to the V8.
No I don't think Toyota would do that , $20k down!!!!! You know Toyota or all other car manufacturers in US market, they will send brand new cars to the scrap yard but not sell it more than 5% below the MSRP price.

I think this tundra will end up like the ford 6.0 powerstroke. As more of these engines fail more people will know and you will have to damn near give them away.
There are a lot of videos on the new engines failing…. I love my 2020
I have seen several of these cyber trucks here in Ocala FL. I think they look cool however I would not own one even if I was able to afford one.
They are filling the radiators and wiper fluid with fan boy tears.
I'm still stuck with my 2018 Tundra. Love the front tow hook V8
Buy a Nissan ?
Don’t buy a Toyota Tundra…
Don't worry. If you have issues Toyota will take care of ya.
Buy a 2021
Or wait and see what are they going to do, hopefully they fix it, but how sure are you that the fix is real. I don’t trust them anymore.
Always super informative, thanks.
Love my 3rd gen tundra!
I cancelled my GX550 order as it is using the same 3.5tt engine....do not want to take the risk
You fanboys are wild
Im pretty certain Toyota truck owners, regardless of year/gen/configuration, are fiercely loyal. The crazy part is in the Toyota world old gen vs new gen is a real civil war, even long before the recall 🤣
No loaners available! Call uber
You sound just like an Elon simp!
Get real!
The tundra unfortunately will end up just like the Ford lightning. 20k off and low APRs.
How’s the job going to be done with a bad engine ?
An excellent pair of comfortable walking shoes, just in case
Nope! who wants a lemon?😂
$20,000 discount and lifetime warranty!!!
Discounts are not large enough! Add on a 6 year waranty on drive train to close the deal !
I think the 25’s get a refreshed interior, Mark can you confirm?
Haven’t heard anything yet. Usually the next year model details come out in August
I don't get the whole detuned thing on the SR trucks wtf Toyota.
The new gen SR needs an overhaul.
Ford is offering 14 to 18000 off where I live in BC.
I got 14k off my 2024 limited after years of dealerships telling me to get lost.
Ok you still bought a lemon turd tho
@@wallbangerzsports leased it bruh. They can have it back in 3 years and I could care less about resale. Drives great btw.
Which dealer?
We need more money for QDR! Oh wait, nevermind, we just want more money.
There are plenty because there junk!
Here in Oregon they have 10,000 to 12,000 off
Which dealership? Thanks
I like the video, but I won’t buy a Toyota Tundra till at least 2027 model year. Maybe by then they will work out all of the issues or better yet will have gone back to the V8.
How is Tundra Dude doing this trying time?
Im doing well, thank you for asking sir
These need to be 10k+ off
Anything on Sequoias?
Great question. I see one or two per lot, so probably not huge discounts, but worth an autotrader search!
Trash! Poor designed engine. No wonder so many on lot. People don’t want that junk V6 Turbo and the MRSP are too high!
$20k off MSRP they would be worth buying
No I don't think Toyota would do that , $20k down!!!!! You know Toyota or all other car manufacturers in US market, they will send brand new cars to the scrap yard but not sell it more than 5% below the MSRP price.
If you gave me it for free I’d take it. I dont buy garbage trucks with my hard earned money. The new tundra is a epic failure
these trucks are tainted. I will not buy a used one as planned. -toyota fanboy
Dave Ramsey would laugh his head off at these prices.
Im sure Ramsey stays in business with the way the auto industry is these days 🤣
41000 to 50000 dollars for a truck. Is still too much money especially a one with potential problems
I’ll never own one past 2021.
I have a 2022 and zero problems
These new Toyota trucks are “vaccinated” … no bueno 👎🏼 no gracias 👎🏼
Needs to be 25-30% Msrp. Depreciation alone dictates that percentage.
Dealerships Will be waiting like vultures as soon as you agree to the price to upsell you on a $4,500 exclusive warranty you will never use and then they get mad when you decline i had the experience buying my Rav-4
