Your industry interview episodes are terrific... a unique angle that I haven't seen many hifi UA-cam channels cover. And what an amazing team you found for this one. I'm impressed not only with their products, but the fact that they do everything in-house with such a small team. And they seem to enjoy their work thoroughly.
So glad you're enjoying them, John. The Geno and Sherri are great people and doing great things from a very simple base that's grown, but stayed true to its roots
Fantastic interview. Within minutes I knew I'd be buying their products. You can tell they do this because it's a passion, not an obligation. I didn't know they did custom powder coating colors, I'm very tempted to have them match my motorcycle.
these guys are wonderful!, this interview clears up so much about them. I actually had an issue with an Enog 2 pro and I contacted them thinking I was going to get a rep, turns out Sherri was the one who replied and replaced my busted enog for a new one
Geshelli hits the sweet spot for sound quality and cost! They are so friendly and quick to respond. Even more impressive now that this interview describes just how busy they are. Great job on this. I will continue to support them as much as I can. I currently have the ENOG2+Archel2.5 and another with Erish+JNOG. Both are great pairings for me as I continue my journey in this hobby. Wish them much success.
Yeah, they're great people. Thanks for the question. I never got confirmation, but I have a sneaking suspicion during the discussion in Part 2 about new products that there might be a discrete amp in the works, but nothing definite (and I have no info beyond what you'll see in the video) - we'll have to wait and see.
I got a JNOG with a custom Tye-Dye mist and I LOVE it! I use it for DSD and it sounds really, really clean. These people are amazing and I HIGHLY recommend buying from them. GOOD FOLKS!
They are awesome! Nothing better than a started a business from home story. So great to have companies like theirs, Schiit, and ZMF making stuff in the states and ran by people you know and like that have a passion for what they do (and for sound :).
Yay! So glad you put your money towards buying from a wonderful business run by wonderful people. I'm not saying Topping or SMSL are bad, but they're a larger, somewhat faceless organisation (both under the same ownership as I understand) whereas Geshelli are literally a family business built from the ground up
I love my ENOG2 Pro and just ordered a Archel 2.5X during their Black Friday sale. Had a question about some spare panels for my ENOG2 and Sherri replied at 11 p.m. and got me what I needed. Great people! I look forward to what they come up with next!
Such a great interview. Really nice couple with such powerful ideas, ideals and products. Sending our love to them🙌🏾 Also, a guest suggestion: You should get the guys from Abyss on in a later interview. They have a very similar family business setup and are really fun!
Glad you liked the interview and thanks for the suggestion. Unfortunately I have zero relationship with Abyss right now as they chose not to discuss working with me on reviews. ☹️ Perhaps in the future...
Zeos with the purple unit was probably the one that made people purple crazy lol I remember seeing that and instantly being curious about what the unit was and who made it. Purple works!
Thanks MW! Glad you like the interview and the shirt. Part 2 is coming soon (of the interview). You can buy the shirt (or hoodie, etc.) of you want to - the merchandise links are in the descriptions of my videos 🙂
Dude reminds me of Tarantino in the best ways, not the worst rediculous ways. If I could easily get one in Canada I would be first in line. Awesome couple, and the best of luck to you both
@@PassionforSound Oh I'm sure - just not in any cheap and streamlined way. I'll save my pennies, nothing I would like more than to use my dollars towards companies like this
Nicely done. From their web site it looks like they do primarily amps with an occasional dac (out of stock limited addition). Did you get the impression they have a dac in the pipe line for 2021 ? thanks
Hi Bruce, they've always made DACs, but unfortunately the AKM fire pulled the rug out from under their current model. We talk about it in Part 2, but there is a new one on the way.
I don't believe so, Oahu, but who knows what they have in the pipeline. (I honestly have no idea beyond what they discuss in Part 2 so there may be nothing to do with speakers)
@@PassionforSound Your Review for the Magnius was so Good that I'm considering it. I want the Eirish, but I like how the Schiit gives you options. And I LOVE GESHELLI. Have I missed the Giveaway? As I am quite POOR.
The Shanling UP4 and UA1 giveaways are still going. Checkout the UA1 and Schiit Jotunheim 2 reviews for details. The Erish is awesome, but I assume you like the pre-amp and single ended functionality of the Magnius, yes?
Love my Jnog, but something is wrong with it. Once you install the drivers the optical fails to work, and if you dont install the drivers the unit ticks on usb. So I only get to use the usb all the time and prefer the optical or I have uninstall the drivers lol
@@PassionforSound Yessir, Geno helped me himself, but we are not sure what the issue is. Also, the issue primarily occurs using Quboz which is my main music platform. We are assuming it's my pc, but I find it strange. optical is not a selectable option on Quboz, it just disappears when you install the driver. But overall is an excellent dac, sad this situation has occurred and I hope they repair it in future dacs. Also to consider that this is the first unit with USB so probably why they didn't even use that in the first place
These people are awesome, I was flip flopping on the color choices late on a saturday and true to their word, Sherri and I ended up passing a few emails back and forth on a Saturday. I really like these people and how they approach their passion. Also the picture of the colors I chose Sherri sent me as an example is absolutely amazing.
That was fun. I ordered my JNOG2. It is good to support a great small business run by really nice people.
Nice one! Glad you enjoyed the interview. Hope you enjoy your Jnog 2 even more 🙂
Thanks for these kinds of interviews. It gets us more informed about the company not just their products. I've been binging these. Lol.
Glad you're enjoying them, Joseph!

Wonderful equipment and people. I wish them continued success and prosperity.
They really are great people!
What a great family business success story. So honest and loving. Thanks for making this video.
Luv those guys. They are so natural and positive :) gl!

Very cool interview. Love that they measure and listen! Also happy to hear they're at least open to experimenting with discrete components :)

Sick, super happy to support Geshelli, great products at a great price. I own a few of their AMP's love them, TY.
Hi John, glad you're enjoying their products and this video. Part 2 coming soon...
Great story, great people, great products.
I agree. I'll be interviewing them again soon about their new DAC options
Got my first Geshellli in Feb '19...Hope they do some tube stuff.

I was looking at a Topping or Smsl dac, but this interview convinced me to buy the new Geshelli J2 dac!

lol I thought that was Zeos. I don't watch much of his stuff but that color is memorable.
Awesome! When you do an interview, you do it up right! Also, I love that shirt! Ha ha! So good. The next one should be "headphone cable". ;)
