    Raw milk does not go bad if left out, it changes. It becomes clabbered milk and other products, which is still safe to consume and can be used in variety of ways. It does not spoil the way the pasteurized milk does.

      The word typically used is that it sours, not spoils.
      It’s like having concentrated probiotics can give you diarrhea- especially if on an empty stomach. It’s typically only 1-2 bathroom trips vs repeatedly over 1-3 days like food poisoning would do.

    I see a lot of people posting about raw milk being illegal in their state. There may be a loop hole in those laws.. Here in ND the "sale" of raw milk is illegal but if you own a share of the cow its not illegal. You buy a share of the cow (price depends on the cost of the cow divided buy the number of shares). Every week I give the farmer who keeps my cow $7 to pay for hay. And because I own a share of the cow I'm entitled to a share of its milk. So once a week I drop off $7 and pick up my gallon of milk. As do each of the other numerous share holders.

      Did you experience diarrhea by any chance??? This past Summer I did a 30+ Day Raw Milk Fast, and had diarrhea on every last one of those days. @@christopherraybon1449 Okay, so I just looked it up on Aajonus Vonderplanitz and he writes that diarrhea is a sign of heavy detoxification by drinking raw milk, eating raw dairy and generally animal fat. All these superfoods bind to toxins to get rid of them which causes diarrhea which is soothing to the colon.
      However he writes that Heavy Detox through Starvation (Fasting) is not necessary unless you have a special concern that you were poisoned (through a vaccine for example) because our bodies always detoxify if we eat our natural diet which is Raw Meat, Dairy and other natural things like some fruit or honey.
      It shows how healthy the Raw milk is that you are drinking.

    • @MissJonas
      @MissJonas 11 місяців тому +6

      @@tawilkI've done plenty of research through the years. It only makes me more convinced that if done properly it's safe for consumption.
      If it's not something you want to do...I understand.
      But why stop people from doing what they want to?
      Could it be more about money and control?
      Look at all the other things people consume that are regulated and how many times people get sick.
      Be wise about your farmer and how you handle your milk after purchasing it.
      Some of the push back and misinformation could be coming from animal rights activists.
      Be informed of the possible risks but also keep it in perspective to all the other risks we encounter daily.

    • @tawilk
      @tawilk 11 місяців тому

      @@MissJonas it's literally because people can get sick from consuming the product. you're trying to equate safety standards are the reasoning behind people getting sick. that's like blaming OSHA for workplace accidents. also, why not just allow crack to be legal? if it's what people want to do.... that's not a great flow of logic. in the end, you'll never know how your farmer handles the product and 'getting food poisoning' is an experience good, you won't know it's too late until it's too late.

    • @MissJonas
      @MissJonas 11 місяців тому +6

      @@tawilkI appreciate your carefulness and concern.
      When we have guests we tell them to bring their own milk if they plan to stay awhile. Otherwise I use it in cooking if I share it with others outside our family. When children visit I check with parents. They say "if yours drink it mine can too". Think hot cocoa or butterscotch pudding😋
      Again, let's study the sickness rates in states that allow it and compare it to alcohol that is legal. Most scientists will tell you alcohol is a toxin. Look how many are killed and sickened by that.
      Just trying to keep it in perspective.
      History has proven that homes where raw milk was available children were healthy.
      I'm not trying to argue to change your mind. I would just like to not be considered a criminal because my neighbor wanted to barter some milk for a few vegetables from his garden. Or if near the fridge there was a basket for friends to drop in a little donation.
      Would it be acceptable if everyone signed a waiver saying they knew the risks as the "experts" perceive them?

    Feel free to eat more bacon. Omega 6's from bacon are good for you. Please do not compare Omega 6's from pigs to Omega 6's from oils. Cool cooking method for no splat- Cut a pound of bacon in half down the middle. Then cut the 2 halves down the middle as well. Then in a tall pot, separate all pieces and throw them in the pot. Cook on high and put the cover on. Every 2-3 minutes stir. Once the bacon browns, turn the heat down to med-hi. Continue to cook. Near the end, turn heat down a bit more. When done, slotted spoon to remove....No oil splatter.

Governments should NOT have the control over our lives the way they do.
