I have a story that needs to be told. I am 76 today, but when I was still a teen I used to work in a little health food store in Los Angeles. One of our best sellers was raw milk, produced by Alta Dena Dairy in California, a small family dairy farm that sold an entire array of raw milk products. Raw milk is so superior to pasteurized milk that I can't even count the ways. In fact, even though I am lactose intolerant, raw milk still contains the natural enzymes that enable you to effectively digest the product without a single problem, and is indeed one of the most perfect foods in existence. But once they started boiling it at high heat to kill all of the bacteria from Big Dairy's over milked and stressed-out cows, all of these healthy nutrients are killed. That's why raw milk from healthy, happy cows is the ideal solution. Alta Dena was so successful in selling their clearly superior products, that the American Dairy Council tried to make them join their association and start pasteurizing their perfectly healthy milk. from perfectly healthy cows, but they refused. So the ADC decided to "arrange a way" to FORCE them to join, while totally destroying their only source of competition at the same time. They simply they had some salmonella bacteria placed into a few quarts of their milk, then have a dairy inspector "coincidentally" test a few bottles of their product, now infected with the germs that they themselves had planted. When they found salmonella in it, the government removed ALL of the Alta Dena Products from every shelf and every store, just to "teach them a lesson." Then Alta Dena successfully beat them in court, proving that their products were entirely safe, so the ADC just waited a few months then re-infected a few more bottles of their products, purposely wiping out their entire inventory. By then Alta Dena was too broke from constant lawsuits to fight back, then HAD to boil their product, destroying all of its health benefits and bankrupting the entire company. This is how Big Food works to eliminate all competition, leaving only their unhealthy, often toxic products, along with Monsanto's GMO farming practices. It's criminal.
Hi, tahats very interesting. How do know American dairy council pointed salmonella into their bottles? Did you see it yourself or did you know the owner of the raw milk company?
@@lorilee1931 Btw, LORI LEE, since you're obviously a shill for the American Dairy Council, who do YOU think purposely infected those few bottles of Alta Dena raw milk? ALIENS??
@@tiffsaver I'm just someone interested in an animal based diet. My question was in good interest. What if the infection happened on the farm? How do you know it didn't?
@Babz THAT TOO. This concept is the identical plan used by all of the major corporations today. Do you think that shutting down the entire country for an ENTIRE FREAKING YEAR made us any healthier or the economy better?? Just the opposite. During the lockdown, only the top 1% made TRILLIONS, while we got stimmy checks for $1,200., using our measly checks to buy flat screen TVs and take more of Big Pharma's vaccines and tranquilizers. And have you noticed that Bill Gates of Hell is busy buying up all the farmland left in the world?? It's all about CONTROL, the number one goal of all the multi-national corporations, and their supporters, the central banks.
Pasteurization was never intended for the dairy industry. They simply adopted it for one reason - to increase the shelf life of the product. I suffered for over 25 years with a digestive issue, that completely resolved itself within two weeks of drinking raw milk.
@Debbie - was it pasteurization or homogenization? In my case it's homogenization. I grew up on raw milk and my digestive tract doesn't take ANY of the homogenized dairy products. It's working okay with pasteurized products. I have made recommendations based on my own knowledge to other people who had "lactose intolerance" and they were extremely happy and grateful because they could consume dairy products after my recommendations and not have any problems anymore.

We have been drinking raw milk for last 7 years. Once a month I travel nearly 60 miles away from London to get the raw milk from a farm. I've bought a special freezer to store that milk. It's so delicious and my children think store bought milk should not be called milk because it doesn't taste like milk. We need to teach our future generations what are the real foods are and how these look and taste like. Our creator created everything that would nourish our bodies, but we humans tried to act smart and changed everything as a result every ecosystem is falling apart.

Raw Milk Literally saved me from a Severe Sugar and Junk food addiction that was going to end my Life and Destroyed my Health. Since drinking Raw Milk, i have not touched one single Sugar food or Junk food. I’m getting healthier by the Day
I’m currently experiencing this! Night time is when I get the very worst cravings and desire to binge. Not because my diet is otherwise unhealthy. I eat a very good diet full of meat and fat without too many plants. But I like having a sweet after dinner. I guess it was habit, and I wouldn’t ever feel fully satisfied to go to bed without a sweet. A piece of fruit would never quite hit the spot, and I’d always end out reaching for more. Now I have a glass of raw milk after my diner and the cravings for a night time sweet are completely gone! I’ve been on raw milk for years, but never really drink it on its own. Just use it for smoothies in the morning. I’m gonna keep doing this and I’m so excited to see what effect it’ll have in the long term! 🤩
@Cris-qd3yg I’ve been drinking Raw Milk on a Daily Basis for the past 5 Years now. Sugar free and Junk food free for 3 And a Half Years. I have Zero Urges to Eat any Junk Food, and I spent the first 24 years of my life eating nothing but junk food. The Raw Milk will do it. Plus Raw Meat & Raw Eggs. Your Body craves junk food because it’s never getting the Nutrients it needs to properly satisfy the Body. Once you get the right foods into your Body, slowly but surely those urges will start to go away, till they eventually Disappear altogether. This has been my Genuine experience, and I believe it can be yours too. Get those Raw Foods in your system & enjoy the Process.
I just started ordering Raw milk , raw butter, cottage cheese, cheese and all my meat from an Amish Farm in Pennsylvania. They are away from city pollution and is called Dutch Meadow Farms. I’m so in love with this milk. It tastes way better than all that processed dairy. Thank you Dr Berg for sharing this with your followers !!! I grew up on a farm and we always had fresh milk straight from cow to table. My gut problems started within about 5 years of leaving my childhood home and buying milk from supermarkets.
That is what the establishment want..... SICK people. Look around you, it cant be more obvious. I have a Jersey cow, grass fed here in florida, and she has given me milk now for darn near six years. Her calf i weaned off of her at 7 months and i started milking her by hand. I strain the milk with a coffee filter and after all these years she is still giving me over a gallon a day. That milk is so tasty and a yellowish color. I grew up and we had jersey cows for milking and i never fogot how good that milk was. Try feeding a calf that pastueruized/homogenized milk and he will die....he needs those vitamins and enzymes, that is why it is in the milk in the first place!

@@flparrotz1 Jerseys also have a higher cream ratio in their milk--that's why it's a yellowish color. I tried Holstein raw milk from a local farm which wasn't even close to the Jersey's fat/cream content. I make kefir on a regular basis & drink daily for gut issues. I'm nearly 72, used to eat lots of carbs, fruits, vegetables, nuts & seeds. I gave up all those foods a couple years ago as my IBS symptoms which were becoming worse over time made my life miserable. I had even been on a raw diet for a few years, juicing enormous amounts of leafy greens, & a huge variety of other colorful raw vegetables & herbs. Nothing was improving my gut issues. Over 4 yrs ago, I embarked on eating a keto diet, & there was some improvement. Not until I went mostly carnivore (meat, eggs, heavy cream, butter) did my gut finally settle down, The only time I have IBS type flareups is when I consume carbs, veggies, nuts/seeds--sugar in general. I consume about 20oz of kefir a day, made from raw Jersey milk. It's the bomb! The Holstein cow milk didn't produce nearly the quality of kefir that the Jersey did--it was like low-fat (almost skim) in comparison. Holsteins produce greater quantity a day compared to Jerseys, but the latter is way richer & creamier.

Dr. Berg I drank milk from a buffalo in pakistan freshly squeezed from the teat into a glass direct. It was fed a pure chopped grass diet or something like that in a lonely village. It was warm and sweet and the best drink I tasted in my life.
I used to buy buffalo milk from a farmers market in London. That milk was exotic! The whitest milk I have seen in my life, whiter than your standard cows milk. Cows milk is actually yellowish white, buffalo milk is white on white. At first I didn't like the strange taste, but i grew to love it. Eventually I ended up liking it more than cows milk. Unfortunately, that farmer stopped coming to the market. I remember she told me she was cheated by one of her employees, or something like that, and she stopped selling the milk.

My husband was raised on a Jersey dairy farm in Washington. Raw milk was illegal but they “bootlegged” some to the local farmers and my family participated. A local university ask to do a project on the dangers of raw milk. They took a gallon of the raw jersey milk and injected it with Listeria and then took a pasteurized gallon of milk and did the same. Well they had a surprise. The Listeria in the raw milk was unrecoverable while the pasteurized milk had MASSIVE CFUs ( colony forming units). The theory was the natural bacteria in the raw milk suppressed the growth of the Listeria ( pathogen) while the pasteurized milk served as a growth media to enhance growth. The problem with pasteurization is the bacteria are LYSED i.e. “ exploded” . This releases numerous proteins into the milk. I believe some people can be sensitize to these proteins. Also since pasteurization, the colony counts allowed in milk has risen because they felt they would be killed so why worry? When I was working on my husbands farm the allowance was much lower and they worked hard in cleanliness. I doubt many modern dairies would grant tours of their facilities.
Bovine Leukemia Virus is present in 80% of herds, also BLV is found in human cancer tissues. I’d love to consume raw milk, but haven’t found a solution to this issue.

Do you make your own? If so could you share your method please? I’m based in UK and keffir is available from the CostCo store and maybe at Asda (previously owned by Walmart) but never really seen it when I was growing up. @Sonna not able to comment on raw milk, but regular kefir using whole fat milk (blue top in the UK) kefir tastes tart, tangy, slightly acidic, slightly carbonated (bubbly), smooth, fresh, cold. You can second ferment for adding flavour but it’s very subtle if you do it in the fridge, not sure about flavouring the strained kefir for a counter top second ferment, yet to try that.
I had chronic mastitis while breast feeding all 5 of my children. On the last 2 when I couldn't nurse any more I went to raw milk. Those two children did fantastic. Never sick, no ear aches, no antibiotics. We all drank raw milk for years and made our own cheese and yogurt.
What was your diet with the last two kids? Standard American diet? It seems bizarre that mothers can't make milk for their own children. It wouldn't surprise me at all to find out the food companies are poisoning the masses.

Cows that are milked by machine suffer mastitis chronically. Only solution is antibiotics. You could have raw milk from a very unhealthy cow and with masitis there is pus that comes out. 1. Make sure your raw milk comes from hand milked cows or goats or sheep or camels if that is your thing. Preferably a small farm where they are well cared for and loved. 2. Masitis is humans hurts a lot. I've had it myself. Mastitis in cows or goats ( or sheep or camels) hurts too. Don't contribute to their pain. We human moms can be cured and then avoid it. But the animals are stuck being in pain just because we humans who "have dominion over the earth" say it must be so. Be sensitive to the lives of others as you consider taking milk from someone else's baby. I milked our herd of goats for years. I've been there, done that, know the different sides of the story.

Many of their patients were cured of their ailments just by drinking raw milk! I think the book can be bought from amazon. Dr Berg has probably heard about them.
The “milk cure” is real, highly documented, and demonstrable. The problem is the public is so brainwashed, that they won’t believe it even if they read about it. Their own brain conditioning won’t allow them to accept what they’ve been trained to reject. It can cure nearly all diseases.

I grew up in Canada and was always drinking pasteurized milk. When I look back, I was always sick as a kid or adolescent with some flu or cold, allergies or mucus. It only stopped when I stopped drinking homogenized/pasteurized milk. I moved to a country in the Mediterranean where raw milk was sold everywhere. I boiled it, drank it and it did wonders for my health. I consumed a lot of milk kefir and yoghurt - also very popular in that country. I then moved back home to Africa and started drinking raw milk directly without any boiling. I was scared about the bacteria and germs people warn you about. Nothing - I feel a noticeable difference in my health since then. Perhaps improving my gut bacteria and consuming probiotics whilst in the Mediterrenean made it easier for me to consume it here. I started drinking raw milk about 2 months ago, maybe 3. It tastes so good, it reminds me of the milk I drank as a child, rich and creamy, cold, naturally sweet. I love it. My problem is I love it too much. I drank a gallon in one day, then a gallon the next day. It was too convenient having it in the house. I bought a half gallon yesterday. Started drinking it and noticed that it tasted different, not as sweet, and kind of so so. I drank about half the jug before I reread the label. It was raw goat milk. I assumed it was cow because it was where the cows milk is displayed. I'm less thrilled drinking goats milk, so at least it slowed me down. But I gained 5 pounds just from those days of heavy drinking raw milk. I couldn't stop.

Thank you for a very informative video,dr.Berg! I have been thinking lately about the dangers of consuming pasteurized milk and milk products.Just want to add, that when you pasteurize or boil milk, the very beneficial calcium, which is meant to build strong bones and healthy joins, becomes destroyed, converted into inorganic calcium, which then deposits in your joints and also makes your bones weak.
I never have really liked milk all that much, but always noted the difference between the 2% from the grocery store and the fresh milk from my granddad’s Jersey cow. He had kept at least one milk cow while he raised a family and milked every day for a lot of years, strained and bottled it, and put it in the fridge - all for personal use. He bought out a closing dairy’s inventory of the classic glass milk bottles and a (for him) lifetime stash of paper milk bottle caps. The cream that rose to the top of the bottles was delicious. His cow lasted 32 years before the milk dried up. He was in his mid to late 70s by then and and didn’t feel like getting another. I remember occasional comments about drinking non pasteurized milk, but no one ever got sick from his milk.
My grandfather back in the 1950’s had a milk cow on his farm. I remember my grandmother milking her and straining the milk with a cheese cloth. There was nothing better at breakfast than this raw milk out of the refrigerator!

In the past 6 months we’ve built a custom built in pantry in our laundry room, then we dug out a huge garden, then we started putting up a fence all ourselves with no fancy expensive tools, fencing in 2.5 of our almost 4 acres of land. I am drinking Alexandre VAT pasteurized A2 milk with no problems. I have not been able to have milk for years. I have tried raw milk, the regular pasteurized milk and I would be running for the restroom. Made me sad because I made yogurt and Kiefer. About two months ago I tried A 2 milk. It is a different protein and I’m having no trouble with the milk. I haven’t found a place where you can get it raw. VAT pasteurization is done at a lower temperature than regular pasteurization. I buy the VAT because I make homemade Kiefer and Greek yogurt from it. It’s more expensive than regular milk but I jsave in other areas with a garden and such. When I make yogurt, I heat the milk to about 110° since it is VAT pasteurized. I don’t know any place that’s selling, raw A2 milk in Northern CA. So far, I’m really happy. I figured I would have to heat the milk anyway to make the yoghurt. I never tolerated the Lactaid milk and I couldn’t understand why I think Goat Milk is also A2 milk, so maybe people can be allergic to the protein like me. My reactions to milk were pretty severe. I made the mistake of going out of town a week ago and ordering a Starbucks hot chocolate low sugar. Forgot to say soy milk and I had major problems, so yeah I am happy with A 2 milk.
I'm on the raw milk train too! I just got back from a farm that sells raw milk for only £1.50 a litre. I'm hoping all the antibodies, probiotics and enzymes will help my IBS. Feeling positive.
I hope it helps you too! I haven’t found A 2 raw Milk yet. My doctor diagnosed me with IBS also. I’m actually seeing him this week. I’m going to tell him to take it off my medical chart. For breakfast lunch and dinner we were graced with the raw milk cold out of the fridge . Never felt healthier since then. Witnessed the milking of the cows and felt warm in the barn in 0degree weather. The barn was toastie with the heat generated from the beautiful giving cows. Miss those days.
Tom Green was into the raw milk craze over a decade ago, as seen in the UA-cam video “Tom Green Milking The Cows”. He was so committed to raw milk that he imbibed it directly from the cow’s udder. There were no reports of him having sustained any bacterial or viral infections either. In fact, there was some protein or enzyme which increased his already formidable comedic talents by at least 400%.

Hello, Dr Berg, my name is David. Recently, I have been watching your videos, absorbing all of the information that you provide and trying to implement that into my life by starting to eat more healthily (by following the ketogenic diet). This will be my second week! On the 18th of June, it'll be my birthday and with all of the excitement, elation, joy and exhilaration that comes with celebrating big important events like this, we tend to indulge in foods that aren't necessarily deemed as 'healthy' or nutritious. I'll be celebrating my birthday with my loved ones this weekend; my family. ❤ So today, we'll be venturing out to have a delightful time! The only issue/problem I have with that is whilst we're out, I'm not so convinced that my family & I will be making the best food choices since we're going to eat at a desert place after eating some snacks at a different location. I am trying my best to eat healthily, Dr. Eric Berg, but with this healthy way of eating that I have recently implemented into my life, I'm sort of indecisive and undecided as to whether or not I'm allowed to have treats EVER AGAIN when following a strict healthy diet. Feelings of guilt will start to trip in when I eat these foods and if I don't eat them at all, it'll be like all the joy has been removed from my life. Also, if I don't go to a restaurant or dessert lounge AT ALL, my family won't be able to enjoy themselves. Is it possible if you or anybody could suggest any food alternatives I could order or any helpful advice you could give me whilst I'm out for a birthday endeavour? I'm on the fence about what to do! Many thanks, David
Happy birthday David ,and many more 🎼 don’t overindulge in the American standard diet 🤢 Remember you’re not missing out that’s why you started your journey on keto . 😀 Order keto friendly food, stay focus …order your steak , veggies and salad . Love this video. My body craves Raw Milk to the point of noticeably functioning poorly without it I can drink a glass & feel the boost of vitality almost instantly ..with that said, I remember Thomas DeLauer (love his channel btw) once saying milk isn’t worth it (even raw) due to the inflammation it causes I knew that my body did so well on it that if I was getting any inflammation, the benefits obscured me from even being able to tell. I knew the logic wasn’t coinciding with the science. There had to be a disconnect. But here you gave 2 examples of anti inflammatory within raw A2 milk. My unverified logic was telling me that just as milk has lactase in it to counter its own lactose, that so also should it contain anti inflammatory due to me never having any symptoms of inflammation even back when I could afford drinking 3 Quarts a day. Anyway, it’s just nice to see the science confirming my own body’s logic. 👍🏼

Dr. Berg, it's called a "herd share" when one can get raw milk by owning a percentage of the herd. Thanks for sharing the benefits. I have dairy goats and LOVE the milk and kefir and cheese.

2. Masitis is humans hurts a lot. I've had it myself. Mastitis in cows or goats ( or sheep or camels) hurts too. Don't contribute to their pain. We human moms can be cured and then avoid it. The “milk cure” is real, highly documented, and demonstrable. The problem is the public is so brainwashed, that they won’t believe it even if they read about it. Their own brain conditioning won’t allow them to accept what they’ve been trained to reject. It can cure nearly all diseases.
Living in a third world country Bangladesh, pasteurized milk is so expensive that people only mostly buy raw milk. Didn’t know it was a blessing in disguise.
It was a blessing
third world countries often think the west is superior in so many ways and this may appear to be the case on the surface. But if you look much deeper, one cannot help but realise how far we've lost our way... we've lost most of the wisdom of our ancestors and replaced it with profit driven science.
Anyone from a third world country reading this: be careful not to end up like us and learn from our mistakes.
It's the total opposite here in the UK pasteurised milk is cheaper than raw milk

Not everyone can assimilate to a vegan diet. I hear you. Ex vegan myself. I think it's less metabolically taxing for chronic health issues to consume animal products too as a lot of the aminos are in either active forms or higher up the chain of conversion so spare some enzymatic processes and the energy required to complete them, to put to work elsewhere. It's delicious, and filling.
My uncle is a dairy farmer so I grew up drinking it on my summer holidays when I visited, the creaminess of fresh milk is very satisfying.

I was raised on a dairy farm and was consuming raw milk since infancy. Well a formula was made for me after breast milk. Never consumed pasteurized milk until we moved to the city. If I had my way, I would still be living on the farm!!!
@Dan White: Yes, that's right! Pasteurized commercial milk is a poor substitute for *real* milk -- raw milk, that is!

I love seeing this video pop up in my feed. We just bought a Jersey dairy cow! At the beginning of January we were in Utah in a townhouse with no yard, and we moved to Texas that month. In the past 6 months we’ve built a custom built in pantry in our laundry room, then we dug out a huge garden, then we started putting up a fence all ourselves with no fancy expensive tools, fencing in 2.5 of our almost 4 acres of land. We finished that and right away got our new Jersey dairy cow, Faye, and got a baby bull Holstein calf to be our eventual beef cow. We named him Tallow. Now when we want raw grass fed milk we can go right into our back yard 😍

I switched to the Alexandre A2 VAT pasteurized milk I buy in Northern California. It has been a life changer. I can have milk again. It was definitely the A1 proteins were causing the trouble. Regular raw milk did not solve that problem for me. I believe Goat Milk is A2 Milk also.

Many thanks,
David

My unverified logic was telling me that just as milk has lactase in it to counter its own lactose, that so also should it contain anti inflammatory due to me never having any symptoms of inflammation even back when I could afford drinking 3 Quarts a day.
