This is kinda dumb and I'm not sure you will see this but thanks for all the MTG goldfish videos. I get really bad anxiety and it helps to just sit down and watch one of your videos to take my mind off things. I really appreciate all you guys on the MTG goldfish team, you guys are the best.
The editing on this one is a bit awkward - Several times, particularly around 26:00-27:00 words get cut off halfway through, and Seth mentions manifesting a land but that's skipped over entirely. I get that you want to accelerate the video a bit and cut out dead air, but sometimes it makes it a bit hard to hear/follow! I'm somewhat hard of hearing, so when something gets cut off, I can have a hard time figuring out what's happening
That happens a lot. Whoever is editing the videos is valuing the total time on the videos too much and cutting off extra information. I get wanting to keep things moving, but cutting words out, missing what cards are drawn/revealed, and other info isn't worth saving 2 minutes in the video IMO.
@@Firebird4Life This is why I've defaulted to 1.25 or 1.5 speed on MTG videos. I can deal with the more fast paced delivery to make the video shorter and the gameplay faster (plus I can always rewatch a section at normal speed if it gets too complex) but that doesn't help when things are cut out entirely.
Ouat was banned today. When you say call, do you mean Eladamri’s call? I can guarantee you that it will never be banned considering only one deck plays it and that deck isn’t even that good.
You're playing summoning anyway, so maybe Thragtusk as a side board card to help in the Aggro matchups. I would also consider some sort of board sweeper as well. Maybe Cry of the Carnarium would help in those as well. Those are the two that I would try to make room for as side board options. The deck looks fun, if it can get going. Cry of the Carnarium would probably be the better of the two since it answers both the red and viser combo decks.
At 33:44 you paid life off of the peatland but they had an Urborg out. And you did it again at 34:10 AND AGAIN AT 35:19 SETHHHHH you bolted yourself for no reason! Bruh you did it AGAIN at 35:46 You didn’t give yourself a chance to win that game. It’s one thing to punt but to do it 4 times in the same game is a kick in the nuts 😂 Wait you won?!? Idk how the opponent threw that game away. You handed it to them🤦🏻♂️
We were just showing our opponent that we can illogical spend life for no reason and still beat them ;) (Seriously though, I do figure it out eventually).
I just watched manaless dredge and the first matchup in that video is a deck played by Seth and then here the first matchup is another deck played by set which is also manaless dredge, wow
If combo is such a problem for the deck, would damping sphere in the side help? It seems pretty flexible in which decks it counters, but it also doesn't really do anything for this deck.
Would Courser of Kruphix be a good sideboard card against aggro, or is it too awkward as another three drop that doesnt work as well with Heartless Summoning?
Do the changes in this list from the deck tech speed it up quite a bit? I was running the original list before, but it was too slow for my meta, so I switched it into a pioneer build, but the goose may make it playable in my area again.
wouldnt "battle at the bridge" be useful against burn since its removal that turns your clues into a massive amount of life that can even kill big eldrazi?
i think you should have played goose instead of discarding it to brutality on game 2 against burn. its about your best card in the matchup... i mean, you were pinched anyway, but it either survives and gets you life every turn, or it eats a removal/damage spell. could be totally wrong tho xD
Again not knowing what opponent is playing in the discard deck. And then changing the deck with sideboard. Then stating you would have sideboard differently. Baffles me.

Turn five is pretty fast for The Gitrog Monster, but also fairly slow by the standards of some Modern decks.

"ElaDRAMI's call". Classic.
I love how those two Assasin's Trophy's just sat in the sideboard for every single game.
Yeah, we didn't really hit the right matchups for it.
I remember playing Heartless Summoning in standard and block. Double Summoning plus Solemn Simulacrum was just all the value.
So much value.
Heartless summoning Frost titan was the scariest deck I've ever battled
Way to really "Kermit" to that board-state vs. that manaless dredge player the first game!
With Titans dominating the format I’d say 4 Thoughtseize 2 Inquisitions is probably correct. Just a thought.
Y&eah, a bit more interaction if probably a good idea.

And didnt attack on Turn 6 of game 2 vs WB Smallpox with Swoordtooth which would have single handedly won the game regardless of who draws what.
I feel like 2 Coursers instead of maybe 1 Tracker/1 Goose might help your aggro matchup a LOT.

Battle at the Bridge could be a good sideboard option (or since we don't really have artifacts, maybe just Erebos's Intervention).
Im confused. In that... second match? It looked like you had assassins trophy in hand but didnt kill his combo, was there a reason why?
Giver of Runes would make it do nothing
This 100% needs courser of Kruphix
Does anyone else hate the way it was edited? Bunch of needless skipping and it's a bit annoying, at least to me.
