Absolutely loved this conversation. Laird just has a lot of common sense. I love that he was like “cheat meals? What’s a cheat meal?” He just eats the way people should eat and doesn’t complicate it like the rest of us do. Also love his creamer though I don’t use it anymore I did like it. I’ve switch to just raw dairy and maple syrup.

Excellent and thanks for sharing. We already know about Scott Laird, his book & 🏄 surfing career. Amazing. Scott is correct about we are closely related to the sea! You guys briefly mentioned Alex Honnold talking about fear, but it would be interesting to hear from one of the top climbers not only about fear, but on diet topic too. I recently saw Alex Megos video talking about eating disorder issue in climbing community. Emil Abrahamsson too mentioned in his video, that he tried to mantain his weight low for a long time, but as he gained more weight, he gained more strength too and was able to climb even better. And it's really sad to see top atheletes skinny AF thinking they will climb better if they weight less...And I also think many climbers are leaning towards plant based movement too. So it would definetely be interesting to hear some climbers Paul :)
