Edsels has really been stepping his vocals up. All in all I'm proud of the dude, his growth over the years is just as inspiring as his long catalog of music.

Dope's video productions are effing awesome. The visuals, the style is so freaking cool. Listen, Dope may be the most underrated band ever, but no one who knows can ever say they went away or went down. They just get better and better and give it all. So much love and appreciation.

Being a fan of this band dating back to Felons and Revolutionaries, they still stay absolutely true to themselves, which is a rarity. Watching this band grow without following trends has been an awesome journey! Can't wait for the new album!

Sorry to disagree. Blood money was great. That was the last good thing they did. Blood money 2 and everything since has been complete crap. I have every album but when I went through the songs on last album I couldn't find a single song that even qualified as average. I don't even know if this song was on it cause it wasn't worth reading the names.
Dope has always been in my top 5. They took a sh it on this one.

Same here! My introduction to them was via a free cassette that was given away on their website before they put out their first cd. It's a shame they never really blew up. They would have been huge in the MTV era.
Zero and Andromeda are amazing guys to meet. I love seeing them come back bigger than ever. My favorite moment is going on stage with them at vans back in 15. ❤️

Man, ive been listening to Dope since right around the time 'Life' came out. 2001 I think it was, which means I was in 4th grade. What a time to be a developing, impressionable little metal-head. Rocking JNCO jeans and wallet chains to recess, watching WWF and Celebrity Deathmatch, trying to shock our parents with all the scary facepaint/mask wearing bands, etc. Anyone who grew up in that time knows exactly what Im talking about. To be a kid back then in the midst of it all was the coolest thing in the world. Those bands that made their name back then, they shaped and defined who I am to a very significant extent. They literally got me into music, made me give a shit about music, defined the general path along which my musical interests would evolve, made music one of the single most important aspects of my life, and in doing all of these things gave me a priceless gift that I can enjoy for my entire life. As that era came to a close, it became common for me to hear more and more people shit on the "nu-metal" groups, dismiss their impact on metal, and relegate them and their material to the junk bin reserved for the most embarrassing of fads that thankfully came to a close. I remember people calling it the all-time worst era of metal music, one which history would forget almost entirely, only remembering the most cringeworthy aspects. But here we are now, 20 years later, and look how many of those bands are still going strong, shouting a big "FUCK YOU" to all the haters, because they know their REAL fans have been here all along. Imagine if Edsel had known back in 1999, when he was playing and programming almost all of the musical instruments on F&R himself, that in 25 years time he would be on the verge of releasing album number 7 to a MASSIVE fan base. Imagine if he had known back then that he would in 25 years have countless fans who have been listening to his music since the beginning? Imagine if he had known that he would personally play a role in shaping man of those fans notions of music. Imagine if he had known back then just how many lives he would touch and improve, simply by doing what he loved to do. Reading through the comments, and seeing how overwhelmingly positive they are, only serves to confirm exactly what Im saying, and it proves that im not alone in the gratitude that I feel for this band. So I think I can safely speak for the VAST majority of us when I say thank you Edsel & Co. Thank you for the upcoming album, thank you for all the albums that came before it, and thank you for being fucking DOPE. Thank you, FROM THE VERY BOTTOM OF OUR SOULS! 🤘😡🤘🏼
I was 21 in 2001. What a great time to be alive, everything was fun, nothing was scary, all of us partied together and had a blast together regardless of color, creed, religion, whatever, no one gave a fk. Then all of a sudden 2008 happened and racism and division was back on the menu. Thank God we have had DOPE this whole time, these guys are so damn good. My 5 and 7 year old love listening to 'daddys music' and we rock out all the time! Keep up the outstanding work gentlemen!

I remember listening to them back in highschool and playing one of there songs at my guitar concert. Then a few years go now I got to see them live at the machine shop and absolutely loved it!!! I'd love for a meet and greet with the band one day!!! They are just an amazing band.
