This is an awesome Cure cover. Dope is one of the few bands that nails every cover they do. They took, " You spin me right 'round,' a song I HATED in the 80s, and made it one of my all-time favorite covers.

Oh, man. I was really hoping this wasn't gonna be a Cure cover, but here we are. I really wish he'd stop mixing Drama Club and Dope together. Keep your side projects on the side. I want my Dope album to sound like Dope.
Lmao. Ha me too! I'm actually thinking that this album is going to rank as my least favorite. It's going to Definitely take a few listens to it to get it to grow on me. Usually I instantly love everything this band has done. This just doesn't sound like I'd expect. It's crazy seeing everybody totally loving this. I've been a fan of dope since felons and revolutionaries. I've bought every album, sport merchandise, and have seen this band more then I've seen any other band I believe. Back in the days of F.A.R. and the life album it seemed like dope would come to Baltimore every month almost. Lol. I've met them and smoked and whatever at after shows and for some reason this album so far just seems so Alien to me for some reason. Maybe after I see some of it live it'll grow on me. Who knows?!
@@mikewebb7807 I've also been a fan that long and love seeing them live, but I thought Blood Money Part 1 was pretty terrible also. I haven't loved a release since American Apathy and there's glimpses here, but the autotune on a lot of tracks? Oof. No thanks.

Lol I liked everything up until blood money part 1. No regrets wasn't that bad
@@mikewebb7807 Nope. You are not alone, dude. I have no idea why everyone in the comments seems to be eating this stuff up. No Regrets was pretty solid, but there were definitely tracks veering into emo territory. My Funeral and Best for Me for example. Then, Blood Money came out and that album was such a disappointment. I was hoping they'd make a comeback with this one, but there's way too much Drama Club. Ah, well. It just makes me go back and relisten to their earlier stuff.

Love what dope has done with the album so far, but I have absolutely no love at all for the cure. Dopes version is only a slight improvement on this awful song.
I think Jack off Jill did the best cover of this song. I'm kinda not enjoying this album too much. It's not dope to me. I think their sound has de-evolved to be honest. Still love you guys though. Still one of my favorite bands , it's OK to have a bad album. Not the end of the world and I'll still support it

I sadly feel like their sound has de-evolved.. it's kinda shocking to me so many people are loving this. I'm guessing those are the fans that haven't truly experienced dope since the beginning, like they gotta be newer fans or something. I hope it'll grow on me after awhile like blood money part 1 had to do.
