Homemade english muffins and a delicious venison burger served with homemade fries #yummy #cooking #delicious #recipe #venison #burger #muffins #northeast
I thought I was the only one eating venison burgers on muffins! I don’t always use venison but sometimes just regular ground beef or minced beef as you call it. I learned this from my parents who learned from a restaurant in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, that always served their burgers on a muffin instead of a traditional bun. I have never seen homemade muffins I might add. Very impressive! It looks absolutely delicious! I will have to try this recipe and thank you so much much!
Hi Mand, another great video and recipe, I never ever buy brioche - too sweet for our liking. I always make my own bread buns/baps for burgers 100% better.
Both of you do a great job. It shows how hard you are working and that people appreciate what you are working towards. I've been here since the start and never miss a video. Keep going, and keep up the hard work. x
I swear I could smell those muffins Amanda! They look fantastic. You excel in breads. Your Chilli cheese bread was fabulous too. I was laughing at Ian, legs parted, shoulders rounded ready to take the burger on! Meant business! Haaaaa!
You are definitely an excellent bread baker, those muffins looked superb. We can’t buy Venison mince in our supermarkets, that would be a specialty item,to buy online for lots of money,or to ask your independent butcher to order for you. Some places have Bison meat, but it’s usually frozen,I don’t think there is much call for it,at least on the East Coast where I live. The sauce would be called Russian dressing here, but no garlic in it.
Those muffins look amazing Amanda. I’ve never tried to make my own. But I’ll definitely try them thanks to you. Amazing meal yummy ❤❤ hope you both have a great holiday. X
Hi guys. Mand, I noticed that you employed a technique when cooking your venison which you didn’t demonstrate/explain on video for folks who don’t know how to avoid excessive shrinkage of a burger patty. Next time you make one please show and explain the benefits of corrugating or even hash marking the patty. Another thing you did right without explaining it (yes, I know it’s flaming obvious to people who do it without thinking) was to let the meat sear on the pan before trying to flip it. Enjoy your holidays; I wish I could take a break but despite offering twice the award rate I can’t find anyone capable and willing to look after my business for a couple of weeks.
Nom,Nom,Nom Bambi burgers are the best, never made my own buns never mind muffins but now I’ve seen how easy you made it look, I’m just going to have a go for myself. Thanks Mand!
These look scrumptious and I agree I would definitely not use brioche buns as they are so light they feel like they desolve plus they taste so sweet xxx Elaine p.s. have a great holiday
anyone else remember when Sunblest (really cheap bakers) sold cheesy muffins ? heavily buttered with hot bacon inside, just the thing for a Sunday morning after a Saturday night
OMG! I’m so hungry now and all I’m having is soup. Oh well I might cook a burger tomorrow. They look so yummy. I’ve never had venison and I have lamb in my freezer so that’s what I’ll be having. TFS Amanda. Enjoy both of you. Have a great week.
