What a great video, loved it. You really are such a clever, hard working Mum and daughter and I really hope that everything goes ok for your Dad appointment and new home. Having been in a situation where my daughter and I had to move a few times, I always told her that although change is very hard, you bring your memories with you and home is where you are with the ones who love you most in the whole world. ❤
Hello there, I am pleased to see you and you are very smart, the weather is getting cooler here in USA ,sweater weather. I'm older so I pay $17 dollars for week. I'm praying that your family will always be close knit, keep God in the center, everything else will fall in place, love from USA
Food prices are rising in 🇦🇺Australia and many families are struggling to find affordable food. We do shop around and Aldi is popular😊 It is always to view other tubers ideas on putting a meal together. Lucky you on getting specials and yellow stickers, not often seen in 🇦🇺Australia. Veggie pasta is always a good feed. Good video.👍
I could definitely eat all that! If you had a bit of cheese you could grate it and put it on top one day, or sometimes Lidl and other places do those crispy fried onions which are shelf stable, they're nice to sprinkle on top for a change too, or whatever. Those mushrooms look lovely.
I would add sliced tomatoes spinach cucumber to fish finger sandwich plus slice cheese breakfast i would add wheat bix with hit water then yoghurd dinner $5 worth sausages chopped one tin tomatoes soup tin tomatoes lentils packet frozeñ vegies in a stew served with rice bulk cooming
Brilliantly done - so interesting that this can still be done. You relied quite heavily on Yellow Stickers ( wisely) I wonder what would be possible without using them. You are a brilliant cook and the issue with using Yellow Stickers is that you never know what you are going to get. Therefore one has to be able to work out what you can cook with what is available on the day. You can do it ( as you have shown). It is opposite to normal frugal advice, which is too meal plan! However this does work - I kinda swap between the two - replacing a meal with what is good yellow sticker bargains! Hope your gets sorted soon.
I had a shopping list without yellow stickers, very boring meal plan but totally doable, bonus finding yellow stickers. Great idea to swap between the two, thank you 💕
That was awesome! I’m tempted to do the same as well and see what I come up with here in Canada 🇨🇦. I don’t even know if it’s possible for $7 a week?!? Thanks Lizzy, hope you find a cozy, comfortable and affordable home soon 😉🌻
7 pounds Sterling equals $12.65 Canadian, so you might be able to do it. It converts to $13.62 in Australian dollars. I will see if it can be done here. I love Lidl's markdowns. We don't have Lidl here, but we do have Aldi, but they do not discount as much. My local fruit and veg does deep discounts, but they put them up in such huge bags that I would have to spend $5 just to buy apples at 99c/kg, the cheapest $/kg I have seen in recent months. 😞
@@kerryrowles5217 hi, I actually didn’t think of that, thank you! I do love visiting Lidl’s in the UK! It’s on rare occasion you get yellow sticker items, I’ll have to check the weekly specials to find some bargains. All the best if you go ahead with testing this out!☺️
Great video idea Lizzie...if you wanted to thicken the stew/bolognese thingy...an idea I use is remove a few big spoonfuls of the sauce and blitz it with a hand held blender (or any blender) - if you dont have one you could use a potatoe masher - add this back into the pan/slow cooker and it will thicken up the contents. Works a treat!
Loved the slow cooker stew!! Great idea and with different spices you could make it Italian/Mexican/Indian so you're not eating the same dish every night. Fingers crossed on the house for you! 🤞xxx
@@frugallizzybee what a fabulous video idea. Thank you for this, its so helpful 😍. You are so skilled Lizzy you could make any house a beautiful Home i'm sure of that.
Pretty good for 7 pounds. I don't think I could do that in the US. Use to be you could get eggs for cheap and have them when funds were low. not anymore. Over $3 for a dozen. Hope your son is doing better. I hate change, too.
Thank you Lizzy yes change is hard when its enforced on you but I know you will find somewhere you will be settled don't take it if your unsure as it should be some place you will feel happy and safe, its hard to stay in budget when you see a bargain like the yogurts ,I think if you could buy veg singles like they do in Asda or Tesco and weigh them you could get fresh veg then plan your meals around what you had brought but like you say it was very short term .x
You did really well . I make a lentil and mushroom shepherd's pie its really good ( not the best cook !!! ) I can eat really cheaply if i stick to plant base being vegan keeping off the fake stuff x😂

you did brilliantly ❤ even if people dont want to do the full week they could have one day like this and help spread money further. All helps.
Yea all helps, thanks for the coffee 😁💕
Your grocery prices are amazingly low compared to here. Such good discounts just don’t happen in this area. You did very well.
