I have to say, I'm glad SM seems to have learned from their mistake and stopped trying to style Yuta so that he would look like a Korean idol. His whole style this comeback looks very Japanese and it works incredibly well for him, hence why hes gotten so many new fans this year. I really hope they keep giving him this "Japanese Star/Anime" look for all future comebacks.

I have to say, I'm glad SM seems to have learned from their mistake and stopped trying to style Yuta so that he would look like a Korean idol. His whole style this comeback looks very Japanese and it works incredibly well for him, hence why hes gotten so many new fans this year. I really hope they keep giving him this "Japanese Star/Anime" look for all future comebacks.

I always thought its a shame that they're always trying so hard to win a challenge and eventually forgot to be funny for varieties..
but now I'm starting to see SM's genius marketing strategy..when all the other groups are purposely failing to be funny, NCT become the only group who actually slaying the challenge and THAT people is what makes them stands out and flourish in a sea of hundreds other mainstream groups. BRAVO SM BRAVOO NCT!!
Ikr I think nowadays I see A LOT of dorky group, beagle group etc, meanwhile in the past the dorky group title that I know is for Suju and SNSD because I think they really are naturally funny (like all the members are dorky not just 1 or 2 members). But nowadays I don't know if most of groups just trying to be dorky or naturally idk. But I like that NCT is growing in variety show, they were indeed really serious with some lame jokes lol but now they're just enjoying it and it's become more natural. They are hard woking indeed that's why SM has a bright future with them.

yupp ikr..and most of them were brought up in an educated (& undeniably cultured) family so they dont really go for cheap slapstick jokes and nonsense..just look at their taste in music, most of them go for western jazz or r&b, and taeyong even listened to classical music..they are just soooo adorably awkward in their own way and definitely improving in the gag department compared to before
it kinda IS part of their job😅that's why they had trainings in variety skills, but idk maybe SM has decided to mellow down on that in their generation compared to the generations before them (DBSK, SUJU, SHINee etc)
