Just try to switch rings into FM-mode for basslines (long press on mode button when it's green)! It's my favourite feature.

How do you record everything? Do you separate everything or record a couple different tracks. I see you have the bass and hat going into the same mixer.
In this case everything mixed down to one stereo track but usually all elements recorded to 4 stereo "buses" = group channels
Out of interest what were you using for the kick?
