Honestly Nick, from a viewer from Germany - this channel is the real deal! No drama, logical approach to problemsolving in the subject of MoPar! I love it, thanks for the great videos and insights!
It never ceases to amaze me that Nick builds all of these high performance engines with lots of compression and big lumpy cams and how easily and quickly they start and how smooth they run.
I worked on a tugboat with a Greek fella, for about 20 years. Sam had a heart of Gold and it was an honor to be his friend. You seem to have that same honorable sense of character and appreciation for hard work, with a penchant for perfection. Thank you for sharing your experiences Nick. I’m 70 yrs old and have worked on cars my entire life, but there is plenty to learn from watching you go about putting out killer tune jobs on engines.
I am a car guy and I love watching Nick’s Garage. I like the fact that there are cars featured from the three big brands. I especially like the dyno runs. As a french Canadian, I am very proud to see a Quebec citizen with Greek descendance such as Nick, be able to communicate with his clients in our 2 national languages as well as in Greek. In this time of building walls and hunting down “illegal” immigrants in the country south of our border ( not to mention racially motivated mass shootings), this makes me happy to live in a truly free country that is welcoming and embraces diversity. The Greeks, the Italians and a lot of other groups have helped build our nation to what it has become and I am truly thankful for it. God bless you all.
big Hurtt Point taken. It’s interesting that you choose to warn me that mass shootings will eventually happen in my country rather than saying for example: “we are working towards change and educating our youth to be more tolerating and along with stricter gun laws we look towards a brighter future”. That being said, I apologize for my initial comment I will keep it all about cars from now on.

Is Mr. "Leadfoot"(red charger) considered job security/retirement plan? I'm really glad I don't have to try and fix his mishaps:) I think he is the type of guy that can destroy a bowling ball with his bare hands.
Love the videos, I daily drive a 1973 Pontiac Catalina station wagon that had a 455 trans am big block but we sold the motor and put a 350 Chevy crate engine in with headers and glass paks. We actually dumped the pipes out the sides before the back tires and it has a sound like no other.
I'm a mopar die hard but it's hard to call that a race engine, its more of a hot rod engine. My old man's 422 (.060 over 340, 4" crank) made 560hp, 580tq... on pump gas. Keep up the good work, I was just expecting a more racy small block
Yours is the first comment about that beautiful red 68 charger. Thought you might want to know... Take care of most Paramountly, stay safe out there! Ciao Out
Sweet sounding 408 Nick and Phil! On a hot day, pulling those kind of horse power numbers. I am impressed with the torque #'s as well. For that is what gets you off the line!
I feel your pain on the hidden fuel pump switch, Nick! Years ago I had just started working the counter at a 10bay full service tire shop. The owner had a low mileage '70 Cutlass convertible with a 455(may have been a 350, he had 4 Cutlasses), white paint, interior, and top that he kept at the shop. Every day we pulled it out in the morning and back in at night. My 3rd day there, I was closing the store alone and no one had told me about the hidden FP switch it had. I spent over 2hrs trying to start that car thinking at first I had flooded it, then checking spark, and finally realizing there was no fuel pressure while praying the owner didnt show up and see the new guy working under the hood of his baby that is still out in the parking lot well after close. I finally swallowed my pride, called my boss, got a big ear full of him laughing his head off as he told me where the hidden switch was. He got me good with that little prank. I returned the favor a few weeks later.
I look forward to Monday morning because of your videos. I used to have a 1970 Plymouth GTX with a 440 and Dana 60. It will always hold a special place in my heart because that's the same year I was born. Thank you and your entire team for all that you do and the memories that come back to me. God Bless
Good morning, I look forward to Monday mornings to see what Nick will have in the garage. That 68 Charger is an absolute stunner. My mom's best friend Carol had a brand new one, dark green. I was always happy to get to ride in it with them.
That red R/T car is just plain nasty! And it looks like it’s got the right driver and technician. Those old 440s are just mean! They were always hard to beat. And you pretty much had to have a built Pontiac to have a shot. It’s a beautiful thing when it all comes together and, they actually get driven instead of being hidden in a garage to rot. Respect!
I had a383 1967 Plymouth satellite in school it was my favorite of all time cars but like everyone I had to sell but I get great pleasure watching you guys work on them I love you’re show right now I’m building 1969 G T O convertible can’t wait to hit the road with it keep up the good work 🛠️👍

600HP sounds nice in the bar, wondering how much is actually put down on the street.... maybe just over 500 on a good day. why not get a real dyno in stead of a engine dyno with nothing connected to it
That's one sharp looking car. If it was mine I'd have it solid black. On another note I had mentioned in another video about this area being a private street and property. William. Many cases I deliver cars on Saturdays. On saturdays all the businesses are closed. There is sometimes someone that calls the Police. But we try to keep a low profile.
Nick, here's a suggestion / request which occurred to me when you mentioned it was a hot and humid day in Montreal.... How the heat and humidity affect the dyno results, and how all the temperature and humidity parameters can be adjusted for in the computer program for the dyno results. I know that the SAE (Society of Automotive Engineers) says SAE horsepower must be corrected to 60-degres (F), altitude of -0- (sea level) and humidity corrected to -0- percent). I notice that you conform to SAE gross HP standards when you run the water pump with an electric motor, and so forth. So, most customers want the big number on the dyno, and that calls for SAE gross HP standards.
try to run coolant lines from the back of the intake to the water pump ,it helps the back of the heads stay cooler .you need to put subframes on all of the cars you put engines into ,to prevent from twisting the bodies with all the power you make
what a beauty...….sorry Nick, I meant the red charger not you.... and if I remember correctly when In Paros a few years back I said something like Ferte Mou ena bira (Mithos) parakalo…….And for you all it s one of the best beer in the world. Greetings Nick from a retired Montrealer living in Thailand
Nick, if you read these, please note that I was not bashing you or your mechanical skills in any way. I do not know how equipped your facility is when I made a comment about seeing Petty Racing for an engine (the 6 pack engine video). I was referring to the Nascar engines because you said the guy has a lead foot. I know that you build quality stuff and would trust you for any engine build that I would need. I enjoy and have learned a whole lot on each of your videos. I wish that they were around back in the 60s and 70s when I was hot rodding around. Back then, there was nothing. Thank you Nick.

Cheers Nick another great video, awesome to acknowledge everyone even the food truck man
Enjoy your vacation!
I really like checking in now and then, it's like a dream job.
what a beauty...….sorry Nick, I meant the red charger not you.... and if I remember correctly when In Paros a few years back I said something like Ferte Mou ena bira (Mithos) parakalo…….And for you all it s one of the best beer in the world. Greetings Nick from a retired Montrealer living in Thailand
Cp. I am having a Mythos beer as I am replying with my comments in Greece. Yassou.
Priceless as always, folks! Great to be back in the dyno room again! Will we see your Challenger on the road soon?? Happy Holidays, Nick :@D
Thanks Craig. Your comments are appreciated and we are glad you are part of the channel.👍
