The sheer musicianship here is crazy - I think most people fail to acknowledge the drummer since its all about flashy guitars but he is wild!
This Is peak Neil Peart Level innovation.
People think the star of the show for G.O.A.T. is Tim Henson's phenomenal guitar but its actually the drummer. His timing and the way he holds the song together is crazy.
Literally every reaction I've seen gushes over the drums. I mean the video ends with the drums and bass elevated on the alter with the 2 guitars looking UP to them for a reason.
Clay Aeschliman is my favourite drummer. He's got to be one of the best drummers alive right now.
Theyre all amazing
I think most people who've played in a band would agree that they _also_ have the best vocalist. 😎
Animals as Leaders has a better vocalist imo
@@KaiMCGRPS you missed the point of the comment
@@beastnighttv I believe you missed the point of mine (AAL is also a purely instrumental band)
It’s always nice when someone recognizes the completely different, but equally gifted style of the second guitarist, Scottie LePage. So many people say he’s overshadowed, but this is the type of song that proves how his playing style shines through Tim’s masterwork. Both of them make me want to practice 15 hours a day.
Your reaction to Clay's bass solo caught me so off guard
Shit goes so hard it never gets old listening to it or seeing new reactions.
This song gives me the same reaction every single time I listen to it.
Every single member in this band is so extremely talented! Tim is typically the most praised but the rest of the band is honestly just as good!
Tim is a fantastic musician but its only cause hes hot
The roller coaster of facial expressions Josh goes through at 2:18-2:30 is so good 🤣
The bass player and the drummer are very in sync with each other. No one is out powering each other perfect blend
A clip of you on TikTok introduced me to this song about a week ago and I cannot stop listening to it!! Thank you ❤️🙌
They just dropped a new single today. Needless to say, it is fire.
IT IS
My boy arrived when that bass solo dropped in there 🥴😂✊🏽
the way you said "you didn't say there was gonna be bass..." is EXACTLY a bit from aunty donna's "subtly spying on a hot girl" its hilarious
Lmao it’s because I had been trying to get him to listen to this song for a couple months, then eventually I requested it while he was streaming, never once mentioned the bass player to keep it a surprise
No one can resist talking during the Scott riff, even though its the best riff ever.
The best bass solo I've heard in a long time is in Dirty Loops/Cory Wong's "Follow The Light". Hella musicianship all around but the bassist is crazy good.
Drums and bass sooo amazing
Clay's such a sick bassist
Drummers love them too, clay is incredible
Incredible
For some serious bass p*rn, you've gotta check out the band "First Fragment" with their epic masterpiece " In'El ". It's 19 minutes but is worth every second! Many bass solos, nylon guitar solos, guitar solos and more. My pick for best track of 2021!
That's awesome! Heavy Neoclassical style that gives off Yngwie Malmsteen vibes. I love finding these amazing bands, thats some crazy stuff. Thanks for recommending this!
@@Juan2Steezy No problem! I'm really happy you enjoy them. They're some of the most talented musicians around. If only more people would check them out, they'd get so big. Unfortunately, I can't donate to reaction channels to request First Fragment because I'm trying hard to save money this year.
There are many great Polyphia tracks, but for you I'd suggest reacting to "Crush" just so we can see your Bassgasm again.
I need an Unprocessed - Real reaction from you…Clay and Tim are featured and it’s such a vibe. Bass porn to the max
check out his second channel, I got him to react to that song as well
@@zVask literally saw it next day, good lookin out!
That bass sound can be chewed on. ❤
“I’m rock hard right now” same
YES YOU DIDDDDD
Hahaha
You didn't tell me there'd be Aunty Donna references...
There's always room for references
You really want the bass, check out Omnific. 2 Bassists and a drummer
For the crunchiest yummiest bass and just an insane band, Aviations // Outliers (Retrospect)
Awesome. Very prog!
g.o.a.t and goose are my 2 favorite songs
Man, listen to Crush. I never had a bass line blow my mind until then.
Sounds damn good
For some Bass Porn, check out Soften The Glare. It's not metal, but it is Mudvayne's bassist Ryan Martinie's 3 piece instrumental project. Check out their song March Of The Cephalopods.
And again, for some awesome fretless action, Beyond Creation, Omnipresent Perception.
I dont love that but respect to the effort ... It sounds so mechanic , they killed all naturality on record i guess... Btw i tryed the bass pattern ... it's dope...
Title of this video should have been "Aussie bass player eats his heart out because it's not just guitar porn" LOL
You should still check out "Igorrr - Cheval".
Fair warning: there's solid bass playing and lots of dicking about!
oh....and I did tell you about the bass part in Discord some time ago ;)
2:25 bro wat
i love the bass more than the guitar. check out O.D.
I have! Great track
young Harrison Wells
Playing God... recently released...?
How good!!!
Goose.
Guitar porn? Yep, that’s a good way to describe it.
react to their song O.D man
I got him to react to that one on stream too, should be uploaded in around a week or so, as well as 40oz
I prefer Aviator over this song to be honest
F
If you're into Tech, and you haven't heard of Polyphia yet...wtf are you actually listening to? lmao.
like the like button if u can play goat..
Boring af without vocals.
