@@TenPinLife If i’m not mistaken, you’re only allowed a total of 10 balls to check into the US Open to bowl competition with. So I believe the strategy is to bowl with equipment that you’re familiar with, since you’re so limited to what you can use. USBC stuff. Not the same as PBA stops where you can drill something up in the middle of competition.

These guides have been super helpful, I'm a beginner bowler (started in november), and ive been looking into buying another ball(first is a melee jab.) Finding this channel along with a few others has been really helpful when looking into a new ball.

Literally a day or two after the revenant/absolute launched, I heard the eternity was coming along with roto grip's TNT (symmetrical reactive solid). Then I heard yesterday that hammer is making a hybrid version of the black widow 2.0.
Only a month into 2023, and we already have 5 bowling balls either already released or that will be released.

I’m using my Belmo Fate as a replacement for the UFO Alert. Move left, drop speed hook the entire lanes. Obviously need the proper drilling for that!

I've been loving my Altered Reality, still waiting on something to come out that would replace it. Since I don't bowl anything that it's banned from I haven't had to look too hard though.

The ball motion doesn't look that similar, but the ball looks almost just like the Hyper Cell Fused! This ball looks pretty good through the pins
I agree, pretty different, but would be tough to put them in the same 6 ball arsenal

I will root for you this PBA season. That 900 Global Eternity looks impressive, I may look into it having in my bag one day. I recently got the Idol Helios from Roto Grip two weeks ago, and I love it.
i never know what bowling ball should fit into my arsenal. I have Roto Grip UFO, Roto Grip Idol Cosmos, Storm Phaze III, Hammer Black Widow Pearl, and a Brunswick True Motion. I kind of want this Eternity and drill it pin down so I have a gap in between urethane and my others.. What do you guys think.

This video was great and now I want it even more even though it's a pretty different ball than any of my others. It has the same coverstock as the Hustle though and so it will at least look very pretty.

What would be some good ball suggestions for not a beginner but definitely not professional 2 handed bowler ? i have a fairly similar release to Belmo’s at least from what i’ve been told to give you an idea of my form and the way i carry the ball down the lane, i tend to prefer a more off the back end ball but i just am not as knowledgeable to make any good decisions or to know some good options
Everybody forgets about the evil step brother my favorite ball with the same cover and numbers as the altered was the volatility torque which is still in my tournament bag

Amazing bowling ball for sure love it and can use it on a ton of oil patterns (sport and house)!
Just bought a black widow ghost and can't wait for it to come in... I just started to get back into bowling after 7years since my shoulder surgery... so where is your brother's shop at... might get it drilled there since I'm in Columbus ohio

I was highly considering the Altered Reality before it got banned. Wonder if and where the Eternity would fit in my bag (Rubicon, Proton Physix, Nuclear Cell, IQTNP are my go-tos right now with Idol, Axiom Pearl and IQ Emerald in the wings).
When you talk about “knocking the shine off” what Grit pad do you use or do you do a whole process like a 4k fast?

Is this basically a remake of the hyper cell fused?
So pearl wise I went from snap lock which had decent angular motion and hook but no continuation to altered reality which has really good back end snap and good continuation sometimes a tad to strong on drier lanes. Would this be slightly stronger than snap lock or about the same

Looks as if MB is closer to thumb on Eternity than on Absolute. How much would that effect the ball motion comparison?
Closer to thumb is cleaner snappier but the way u throw is king from what I’ve seen drilling only varies the motion 10% or less Maby 1-2 boards at most way less than you expect. Ppl make it sound like a lot but after have balls redrilled to different drillings it was very disappointing so don’t worry about it
i think the real question is, how does it compare to the exotic gem? Because i have still yet to see a ball that hooks and has as much and has as much backend as the exotic. Everyday that ball still amazes me.

@@supersentallupinurmouf so ur clearly a casual..... Exotic is hands down the best ball released in a long time. I go to ball demos so out of all the ones ive tried recently that gem is the best. You probably just dont have enough revs to keep up with it.

Storm/Roto Grip are literally releasing a pointless amount of ball. Like the differences are less than microscopic. At this point it's all about the money I guess smdh like the "explanation" at 5:58 tells me everything .. there's no difference between half these balls these days. Just put something "new" out so people will spend money on it.

Technology ruined the sport. Would really enjoy watching a tournament with LT-48's on lacquer finish wood lanes, being oiled with a spray gun and a mop. Suspect 210 average would lead.
