I'm so glad they brought back the Virtual Energy. I had the original one and that was one of my favorites. I threw so many 279+ games with it. And that smell... I'll never forget. Pear Berry. I think they put too much fragrance during manufacturing in the one I bought because that thing's scent was POWERFUL.

I was so excited to see the Virtual Energy come back out. I had two Virtual Gravity's and a Virtual Energy back in the day, and I loved them all. Definitely will be keeping my eye on this one. Next ball for me has to be a symmetric piece, though.
i wish that since they came out with the virtual energy blackout, it would be nice to bring back the virtual gravity and but put it like virtual gravity whiteout or something. virtual gravity was my first high perfornance ball and my first reactive resin ball

I tried the Eternity at a ball demo back in July and was not impressed. The Pi is one I'm definitely gonna be trying at the next demo. Same with the Blackout. I love the OG Rubicon, which is unusual for me to like a big asym ball.
OG Rubicon was a weaker asym, which would make sense if you typically don’t like stronger asym balls

It would have been funny if Storm/900 Global released the 900 Global Eternity π on Pi Day next year. But Pi day is on a Thursday next year.

I always like to think I bowl like Darren except about 5-7mph slower, then he puts out a video like this and all I think is "yeah... I don't bowl anything like this man and he makes me look very stinky"

I had the original virtual energy. But I am a huge fan of the zero gravity.

A new ball is great, but also try having your "dead ball" de-oiled and resurfaced by your PSO to bring it back to life. Then you'd have 2 choices to bowl with.

Nice review! Thanks Darren. And, also thanks for moving away from the recent practice of quick edits away from your throwing motion to a slow-mo closeup of your release, which was maddening. I am still seeing split second quick edits just as you slide to a slightly different shot, but at least both angles show your entire approach and release, which is still strange but at least no longer maddening. Note to your videographer: just as in bowling, less is more in filming too. You are perched behind Darren with your camera Just film the guy from approach to release, to the ball traveling down lane and then to pin impact. It isn't hard, and you did it like that forever, and it was great. Stop with the quick edits and angle changes. Show us one continuous shot over Darren's shoulder. PLEASE.
