    Thirty plus years in, I am so grateful that I am married, fully submissive, and committed to my husband, my king. My husband and I married in our early twenties. As a woman who has experienced every level of abuse: physically, mentally, and sexually from the age of 7-19, I am so thankful for God’s love healing and restoring me to receive and rest in His love representation of me through my husband. It is so good to be loved! Thanks Kings!

    In response to the diamond metaphor:
    🗣 MEN, PLEASE BE A DIAMOND BEFORE WE GET IN RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU _(esp in this economy 👀 & with us having very fulfilling lives while single)._ EVE WAS A HELPMEET; EVEN SO, ADAM WAS FULLY FORMED BEFORE SHE ARRIVED _(he also had a job/ mission)._ A WIFE _(meaning marriage)_ CAN SHAPE/ CUT YOU SO YOU ARE MORE BRILLIANT & VALUE IS MORE APPARENT, BUT THE VALUE OF ANY DIAMOND IS ALREADY THERE.

    Absolutely yes. I want to be a help mate because that's the duty that I stand on for the man that will be in my life. The disconnect is that we are walking in roles that are out of order. We've been conditioned to be all over the place, wearing hats that doesn't fit and forcing them to fit that isn't even made for our heads. Let's begin today to adjust the spectrum and get back to the blueprint of what a family, what relationships, what women, what men, what children look like and supposed to be in this journey called life. 💜💜💜

    Excellent talk. I want more of the breakdown of emasculation of a man. Because many times I feel like having a candid talk about behavioral changes aren't accepted. There is a difference between demoralizing and calling out inconsistencies or terrible behavior. Getting to that emotional growth can be a tough battle.

    • @Thedancingdoc2028
      @Thedancingdoc2028 Рік тому +3

      This the comment Right here. I’ve been in the place where I’ve expressed inconsistencies in behavior that not only affects me but affects our family that’s a problem for me. And I was blamed for it. Now I know I wasn’t at times a good wife but I would ask for his help because I valued his opinion and when things went wrong I was usually to blame. And when he continued to cheat I was blamed at first and then stated he didn’t know why he kept doing it but he doesn’t need help and he knows how to control himself. He asked for the divorce, I begged to put God first and go to counseling. His answer he wasn’t going to change and he didn’t want to do therapy. He was going to change but at his pace and nothing else. And that the divorce was needed. Took a toll
      On my mental health so bad I agreed after still fighting. I got the short end of the stick but I’m growing. I believe it could have been saved but two people have to want to save it!

    I have noticed that when there is an all women panel the questions center around how they cater to their men.
    When there is an all men panel the focus (from the hosts) is how they feel and what can be done to deal (put up) with women.
    The redundant narrative is that women are the villains and are only here to service men’s wants and needs. I don’t necessarily get that from all of the guests, it’s more so Ryan and Tysean.
    Something to consider.

    Words matter to me. I can’t stand an empty apology. The worst thing to do in an attempt to “keep the peace” is to give me an empty apology. It actually makes me lose respect. I respect it more when you can tell me you don’t feel the need to apologize. Even if I feel you should, I’d rather be disappointed and receive no apology than to receive an empty one. So if you do apologize to me, I want to why. I like to actually deal with conflict like an adult, not sweeping things under the rug with baseless words.

    • @JessGoris
      @JessGoris Рік тому +4

      Basically, know your spouse. I don’t like giving empty apologies, but I know those words mean something to my husband. So I’ll find SOMETHING I can apologize for to help him feel better. But for me, keep the words to yourself unless you mean them.

    This was great!!!! Love all the intentionality these men exuded into getting their wives and in the sucess of their marriges. These are clearly husbands with a vision. I think we need to ask men the question "What is your vision for marriage and your future wife?", once we know they desire marriage. Jay touched on how his wife's self respect in her dress and how she conducted herself in the world during their courting stage, was important to him. I just gained clarity. I'm working at dating a gentleman for the 2nd time around and moving with caution, he says he knew he could date me because of the way I dress. I'm able to represent him well. I thought he was being superficial, but now I know it's about the self respect in the dress that's important to him.

    These young men are awesome, they could teach our older men a lot. I am 68 and would love to meet a man with their type of mindset. A man who still has dreams and we can work together to create and sow into our community. I believe we still have a lot to pour back into our society, we just need the men to give us the seed and we will cultivate it. Women don't have following problems, it just needs to be clear on what we're following by communication and example. Trust me we know how to multiply and build, we just need a real architect who is not afraid to commit and lead.

    I feel like I am such a man. I can see myself in all these men. I also see my husband too. And our clash is real.

    @1:40, I miss my dad. He was ALWAYS there, always! He coached our baseball team, was at every soccer game, helped me get scholarships. He did WAY more, but I am just speaking in reference to this context.

    A woman's opinion can't emasculate anyone. If a man feels emasculated its because he doesn't have self confidence. And , instead of coming to agreement or compromise he's so tied up in ego that any opposing idea is a threat.

    I breastfeed all 4 of my children. No bottles no formula no pacifiers. I’m a Mocha Mom for real. (.)(.) It’s not easy to wean breastfed babies. They eat on demand. We are very close. The connection between mom and children are unmatched. Our children are healthier happier and smarter. Through our golden milk we see our children grow and get stronger. It’s so beautiful. It’s natural and pure. When a mother weans her children it hurts us as well. We cry sometimes when we have to reject our child from nursing. 😢😢❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

    It is so nice to hear this but at the same time it hurts so much. I'm trying so hard to no longer focus on what he is not doing but all that you all are describing that you do as Dads that are present is all that I long for from him for them. I'm instead the one doing these things, you say to stay but this is the most difficult thing I've ever went through. I wish my children had this and that I could be in my femininity only. I appreciate and am living through you all.

    I’m older (56) and single now too.. I’m finding that some of the men who have no kids (possibly) and never been married have a more difficult time with communication and accountability because they’ve always been on their own program.. they think communication is number one for them but they have no idea what that really means just because they are articulate.
