As per my research...
In Ireland, tuition fee varies from 10k to 24k euros and take approx. 8k-10k euros per year for living expenses.
In UK, tuition fee varies from 10k-45k pounds depending on university. And 10k pounds per year for living expenses...
Living expense can vary depending on your living style... So take ±1k per year.

Why dont you applied for MSc Data science in university of East Anglia even though u have mentioned that its course contents are good in ur previous video?
When i was looking for universities... I missed uni of east anglia... And also got confused it with anglia ruskin university... And when i had applied to universities like ARU, Coventry, middlesex etc i got to know about uni of east anglia... But till then i had offer from newcastle, QMUL and after some days... From glasgow too... So, i did not apply...

I got conditional offer letters for MS Data Science with AI from University of Exeter
and MS Data Science from University of Sheffield and University of Bath.
Can you suggest me which one is better in terms of courses, reputation, cost of living, and job opportunity. Thank you in advance!
All the universities are good but my preference would be as follows considering all the factors:
1. Uni of Bath
2. Uni of Exeter
3. Uni of Sheffield
It can also vary depending on how much scholarship you are getting.

1. QMUL has 1 year course... And if you like, you can choose placement year as well... So with placement year... 2 years course.
2. I asked and ppl say career service team is good... But at the end of the day find proper job for yourself is totally up to you...
Hi Mate, I have received offer for the following Universities:
MSc in Advanced Computer Science from Loughborough University with some scholarship.
MSc in Data Science from Lancaster University.
Could you please let me know which one is better if I want to pursue career either as Data Scientist or Data Analyst.

@@garvkalia7546 I didn't join any of the universities due to other priorities but I heard Lancaster courses are bit intensive.
I have offer for a masters in Data Analytics from Leicester university and Hertfordshire university. I know Leicester is high ranked but a bit expensive. Even If I can afford should I go for Leicester spending these extra pounds ?..Also does a masters course in Data Science needs to be accredited by BCS?
No theres no need for any accreditation...
And I would suggest going for Leicester bcoz they will be having better resources as well as connections... And they definitely have a better reputation in the industry.

Sir I have a question and I want your perspective on it, MS in CS specialization in AI/ML/DS or MS in DS?
PS : People says that there might be a problem in job finding after doing MS in DS.
I did hear anything like that... MS in DS will only deal with concepts related to DS like data collection, visualization, feature engg, ML DL etc... But MS in CS will have some compulsory modules like advanced data structures and Advanced DBMS... and optional modules for AI and ML...
Thats the major diff...

For some universities, i applied by myself... And for some i applied through consultant...

I applied to coventry through consultancy... And it took around 2-3 weeks...
For City, Uni of london i applied on my own... and got admit with in 1-2 weeks...

I have heard about the uni... But i already had coventry university on my list so i didn't do much research about aston uni as they are kind of very to each other...

University of Bath is definitely one of the reputed universities... If you are getting a course structure as per your liking... you can surely consider it...

In general the university is good and also the course content is sufficient enough to get into data science.

Which one do you prefer ?
The course content of all the universities is really good. Exeter gives a lot of optional modules so, you can personalize the course as per your liking, Nottingham gives options as well. So, if you pick either of these you wont regret.
In terms of location QMUL is in London, the cost of living would be more but you will be able to find part time jobs relatively easily as compared to Nottingham or Exeter.

How is applied data science Essex university Colchester ?
University is good... And course content is also fine... The only thing is... They are teaching the course in R... So, if you are already familiar with python... That should not be a problem... As you will be able to implement your final project in python... Python is important if you want to work in IT industry as it is most widely used language... But if you want to work in education/research field... R will be a better option...

If you are very much interested... Sure, you can...

Universities outside india are okay with people want to change their streams...
So, if you some certificate related to data science and some minor projects that you have done... It will be enough for you to show then you are genuinely interested in data science...
So, try to make a good SOP and if you can get good LOR as well... That will help you to a greater extent...

It is a good university... And is in cambridge which is a very popular city... Also, ARU is very close to uni of cambridge...

This is my personal opinion...
Note: if you like classroom setup and want to sit in class listen to educator for hrs... Then Newcastle is not for you... Here most of the learning is by doing... And we are doing lot of projects... So, its very practical based learning... I prefer... Hence, i chose Newcastle university.

My daughter got offer from Salford University for data science and from City University London in Cloud computing and from Swansea university in advance computer science.
We are confused.
I dont have much idea about Saltford... But city and swansea are quite know universities... But in my opinion... Depending on her interest and course content she likes... She can pick any university... Here in the UK employers are mostly looking for skills and dont really care much university you graduated from... So, if course content is good and you end up making good portfolio... You will have better chances of getting a job...

I too asked her the same. What she likes she should do.
The problem is , due to COVID pandemic she was attending online classes for almost two years and not going for physical college. Hence is she is saying she is confused. Not sure.
In general she is scared of data science but she is saying if she studies it thoroughly she will overcome the fear provided the university is good.

In general aspects...
1. Heriot watt is located in edinburgh which is capital of scotland... So, definitely a big city hence, more job opportunity... However, it can be costlier to live there... But then heriot watt has less fee as compared to uni of dundee... So, overall cost would be same i think...
2. If you have scholarship from any of the universities... You can choose one based on that...
Now this point is more course specific... I can only comment for msc data science... If you are looking for some other course which is out of my scope... I wont be able to comment on that...
So, course content of both the universities are fine... But heriot watt offers more optional subjects... Which will allow you to customise your degree based on your interest... however, uni of dundee is covering programming language... So, if you are a complete beginner... That will help you... Heriot watt havent mentioned programming module explicitly... But if they are covering then thats good... If you already know programming... Then this shouldn't be a problem...

If I had to pick one among these I would go for City University of London.
But do make your informed decision based on your current circumstances.
Bro have a question : I have my bachelors in mechanical engineering and i want to do masters in Data analytics. So now my question is that what if i will do ms in data science will they teach me python from the basics or they'll start from the basics??
Different universities have different course structure... Some universities teach from basic... Some expect you to know atleast basic programming...
So, i would suggest atleast learn some amount of programming... So, that you wont struggle much...

I looked into their 2021-22 course structure... They are not covering programming language as part of their curriculum... Also, i dont know what language they will be using in the course... But it will be either Python or R...
So, i would suggest learn either or both depending on time you have... It will really help you in the course...
I have some python tutorial notebooks on my github... If you are very new to python... Those tutorials will really help...

Its an okay university
Okay means
There are better Russell Group universities as compared to the University of York. Having said that, UofY is not a bad university.

I personally would prefer Exeter... That said royal holloway is also a good university... So, depending on your preference and scholarship you are getting you can select...
@@ProgrammingCradle thank you for your suggestion. I have been offered both. Exeter has 1 year masters without placement while rhul has 2 year degree with placement year.
So, if you want placement year... Royal holloway will be a better option... Else, Exeter...

They both are really good universities... And their course content is also good...
It all comes down to your budget... Overall, QMUL will be expensive as it is in london... But more opportunities as it is in london... But now a days anyways all the interviews and stuff are going on online... So, i suppose you can attend all the interviews from any city...

Leeds has more flexible course content with lots of modules to choose from... Where as in QMUL options are little less... However, QMUL is covering all the modules one needs to get into data science... So, if you are someone... Who knows which modules you are interested in and have prior knowledge of data science... You can tailor you course much better at leeds... But if you are very new to data science... Then i think sticking to QMUL will be a better option...
Why you are going for MS when you are already enrolled in applied AI. Is this mean that having degree is better ?
When i left my job... I left it bcoz i wanted to go for masters... And in the mean time i thought lets take some data science course to hone my data skills...
Masters is not mandatory to get a job in data related industry... But yes, it might give you a little edge over others...

Course content of msc AI and data science at Uni of Hull is good... Plus fee is very low... So, seems like a good option... I dont know much about other aspects like part time/full time jobs, location, etc... So, to get to know those things you need to connect with people who are already studing there... You can connect with them on linkedin...

I can not comment specifically for you... As it is very individual dependent... Some people pickup programming quickly... Some take time...
sir i was finished a bca digital technology can i eligible for applying Msc data science and artificial intelligence cousre in saarland university
I dont know what is covered in digital technology... But the university has specifically mentioned that you need to have bachelors in computer science or related field... So, if you learnt programming and related stuffs in your bachelors... You should be eligible...
You can mail admission team... And ask them whether you are eligible or not... Tell them what all subjects you studied in your bachelors...

If i had to pick one... I would go for University of Essex...

Mainly based on course content, fees and location... Also, by looking at past graduates from a particular university...
If skills only mattered than there would not have been any ranking system at all, ranking is the real check of skill.
If it was not so, why are Harvard, Stanford, MIT and the like graduates revered everywhere
You see there are different categories...
If you compare MIT with Harvard it doesn't matter which university you go to...
But when you compare MIT with some XYZ university, yes it does matter...
But you also need to factor in the fees... Those top universities' fees are not for everyone... so, if you can't afford the fees in the first place... Why will the ranking of that university be of any relevance to you...
Also, a lot of universities can get good ranking by just paying huge sums of money to ranking platforms...
If you compare MIT ranking with IITs... IITs are ranking considerably low... But if the ranking of IITs are so low as compared to MIT then why would a company want to hire someone from IIT, they can just hire people from MIT.
It's a complex discussion... I totally get your point... But there are a lot of factors that one needs to consider...
@@ProgrammingCradle I agree with u on almost every front, of course a few things like IIT could be discussed as there are other reasons for its low ranking.
Also I wanted to know if a person is willing to work part time, what would be the Total cost of MS in data Science in UK ? And is it possible for someone from Civil or Mechanical branch with 4-6 years gap after Btech to get University and good scholarship ?
So after factoring In all the variables like part time and Scholarship what would be the Minimal Cost of doing MS in Data in the UK ??
It very much depends on what the fees of the university will be...
Fees start from £15k and can go all the way up to £40k for a 1 year masters course...
And you can add approx £10k for 1 year living expenses... it can be high or low depending on your lifestyle...

In the current scenario where the economy is on its downfall globally... i would suggest staying in the job that you already have... And some money for future plans like masters when things will start to look good...
