For BE (computer science), worked in IT testing for 4.5 years, then 7 years career break, now in order to get a job in data analytics field, should I do masters in data analytics ? Or courses in udemy /Coursera would be enough to land a good job? Looking for your suggestion..

Yes, it's low but it is what it is... UK employees have had the worst salary growth in the past few years, salary has not grown much.

I have 14 years of exp in IT. If I do an year data science course with no experience in it. How much can I expect?
I can't really comment on the exact amount bcoz it very much depends on your level of expertise, the company, location etc... But if I have to give you some approx. Figure you could expect around 70k to 80k or maybe more or less...

Naah... It cant be as less as 35k bcoz you have IT exp... Minimum you can fetch £50k but of course it depends on your knowledge as well...
do internships during bachelors also count as experience ?
If it's for a considerable amount of time like a year or so... Then it could be, yes...

Here in the University name does not necessarily mean a higher package but the University of Edinburgh, University of St. Andrews, LSE are really good universities and of course Uni of Oxford and Uni of Cambridge.

The salary range which you mentioned are base salary or ctc? If it is a base salary, Do company provides extra perks like joining bonus and other perks like we get in India?
This is CTC. Some companies may give a joining bonus but it's not very common.
Other perks may include share options.

How will be the data science jobs in 2025.
Hard to predict but with all the elections and reforms out of the way, I think the job market should stabilize, assuming other external factors stay in check.

We need to ask this to people who are surviving with 35K or less... But if you are good at managing finances... It is certainly possible...

These salaries sound incredibly inaccurate. Compared to the posted entry level Data Science roles on LinkedIn, the salaries you've quoted are extremely low and don't make it seem worth it. With £40k in London, you'd struggle to put a roof over your head
I would like to mention few things here:
1. You would be surprised, people do manage to live quite comfortably in London under £40,000.
2. Jobs posted by recruiting agencies tend to quote high salaries and not all jobs post salary as part of the job description.
3. This video was made almost 2 years back so things do change, my salary has changed quite considerably.
4. I made this video based on offers my batch mates got and not based on some one or two jobs posted online.
I am sure you will be able to get a salary more than avg but this video was made keeping realistic figures in mind. I didn't want to give false hopes to all the people watching my content.
In London, 30 to 40k is a beggar salary. You can't live on
And yet ppl work for this salary.
