When you mentioned the space on your phone and deleting apps just to record you got my like and sub man. Thank you for the video! I used this video to teach some people. I build a lot of Hondas over here in western Washington. I've got a boosted b18 DD ek coupe, a boosted d16v EF hatch, a 87 CRX, and a 89 EF sedan myself. Plus a s13 coupe project!
Thanks man! It’s still feeling a little spongy at times but it might just be the clutch adjustment, or the clutch itself that might be getting a bit hot, no clutch smell but the engagement feels a bit off sometimes
PB blaster soaked for a while and line wrench would be the best thing to loosen a brake line. They're some short line wrench pieces that a 3/8s extension can fit into those work very well too. I think the vice grips will round off the nut over Time.
@@BoostWanted squeaky clutch pedal gone thank you sir. i had some sludge in the lines as well got it all cleaned and bled ! shifts better and no noise !!
@@BoostWanted yeah about that. turns out it was my clutch huh lol. the car is a 97 and I bought it bout almost 3yrs ago. no records of clutch work so maybe it was time. no grew a pair and changed it out myself (1st) time overhaul a tranny and got it done. WORKS NICE NOW 👌.
@@BoostWanted I mean I did the hydraulics 1st and when it still didn't work I knew it have to be more than that. so now I have new hydraulics and clutch lol.
Glad to hear that man! At the moment I’m having some clutch issues again so it might be my clutch finally starting to go or I completely bent the clutch fork. Lol will be making an update video soon! (Also my input shaft bearing is just about toast lol)

Great DIY video! Keep up the good work man!
Thanks!
Very good video I actually need to do on my d16z6 and my 94 honda civic ex

Great job. I want to turbo my car now too lol.
Thank you! Once you go boost, it’s hard to go back to na lol
Can you tell me why you popped the clutch slave?
The coupe and sedan have different size clutch slave cylinder right
No
awesome will try this in the morning. btw did the squeak go away after when pressing the clutch down after it was completely bled out?
Yup it went away
However I had issues later down the line when I cracked my shift fork. It’s got a stage 4 clutch so it put a lot of stress on the fork

Glad to hear that man!
So you close the line and then pump? Or while the pump is open?
Close the line then pump, while pedal is down you can open and close the bleed valve without sucking in air
thanks alot that helped me !
Glad to hear that!
Good 👍 job
When I did this my slave cylinder wouldn’t go in, it’s the right part but it feels like it doesn’t want to fit
Mine took a few tries but I just used a bit more elbow grease to pop it in
I changed both and nothing. Could it be the clutch?
It could be. I recently had to change my clutch fork out because mine was cracked at the pivot ball. I’d check that first
huh I have to do this later 2day.
It’s well worth it!
