I've got an old 15/19 danesmoor oil fired combi which was losing pressure which turned out to be the 3bar pressure valve so nothing major. Still running great after all these years with obviously a number of new parts added and regular servicing.
I'm not too sure if Duck was just going quack at 2:01 or if it was another word beginning with T... 😄 A very Happy New Year to Duck and the rest of the hardworking team! 🦆
Your sense of humour, editing and filming are brilliant. Are you speaking at the time of filming or after doing a voiceover? you're speaking way too well for thinking and talking throughtout the job! You came up on the home feed as I watch all construction/building trades. Thumbs up Quackkk
If you have problems soldering on hot or cold pipework due to dripping, roll some compressed bread well into the offending pipe . Solder joint, then flush through. The bread will breakdown. Not sure on heating pipes,it might be ok.
@@onewheelnut the best you could hope for is it goes all round the system and gets caught in a filter just before the boiler ( assuming one is fitted).
Any time I suspect a floor / slab leak the first question I ask is if the dog or cat has a new favorite spot to sleep. They know where the warm spot is and that's going to be close to the leak.
Happy New Year Matt, Nick here from Find&Fix in Edinburgh..... drove past a competitor van the other day - the owner has nicked your name as you know... and undeneath it says FInd & Fix specialists.... so they nicked my name too...... water off a ducks back.... rubber duck... some people eh....
Nice camerawork on the "nipple" detail; If the plumbing work slacks off, you may be able to get some work in a more exotic industry! Keep up the good work, every video is a treasure
The difference between someone who doesn't take pride in their work and the one who comes to fix it later and does.

Quack quack!!! Great work again!
love Duck's shenanigans
Happy new year to the duck, oh, and you.😀 Excellent editing as always
My first thought when you spotted 'Mr Chow's appendage' was the flooring blokes had given it a few taps with a hammer for clearance.
The water in the pipe is so frustrating, I share your pain 😵👊
A++++ job well done!!!

You wouldn't be able to flush it out as you would on hot and cold pipe work by opening taps .
@dennisphoenix1 yea, I get that , but thinking about it, if you would a piece of bread into hot water, I'm sure it would dissolve.

Iv had that a few times. After locating the leak, the customer says, " Now you mention it, the cat has been sitting there a lot more recently" 🤣👌🏻🕵♂️
Nice job as always, Happy New, hope the channel grows in 2025 it deserves too 😃👍

Treat yourself to a press gun with press rings, you’ll thank yourself after a few jobs.
I'm thinking about it lol
Where are you based
Hertfordshire but travel. Where are you based?
How can they be hidden if you keep finding them?
The same way you always find lost things in the last place you check 😂
Sorry I don't really get the point of showing the leak in the first 3 seconds, surely I'm watching the video to find out?
We know what a leak looks like but we don't know where that leak is.
We all know we're getting a sausage, but what we are interested in is how the sausage is made.
@@JohnWatkinsUK So why show the sausage before the process?
To show you how tasty it can be 👌🏻🕵♂️
@@OriginalLeakDetectiveand to hear the sizzle 😂
Have a great new year Sir hope business is good for you .
Thank you and you too! 👌🏻🕵♂️
