Caryophyllene: Sent, Location and Properties
Scent: Spicy/peppery/woody
Foods that contain beta-caryophyllene: black pepper, rosemary, oregano, cloves, and other dark leafy green herbal plants.
You will find caryophyllene in lavender, black pepper, and cinnamon leaves.
Caryophyllene will selectively bind to CB2 receptors (which are actually found outside of the brain and in all other parts of the body resulting in possible classification as a cannabinoid), so it is not a psychoactive component of cannabis.
Medical Benefits of Caryophyllene
Caryophyllene binds to CB3 receptors, it can be highly useful for inflammatory disorders (example: arthritis, multiple sclerosis or chronic pain).
Caryophyllene can also be beneficial for treating anxiety and depression without the overwhelming mental effects from THC.
Cannabis Strains with Caryophyllene
Arjan’s Haze #2
Super Silver Haze
Neville’s Haze
GSC
Bubba Kush
Sour Diesel
Chemdog
Death Star
Original Glue
Gelato
The White
Master Kush

Looks like you just made it;-)
Some sites say its boiling point for it is 160 degree's/ 320 F.
But 514F seems really really high
Sources provided in the description.
Fun fact,,,, darkness before harvest greatly reduces this terp, and significantly at 72 hours, upwards of 42%.
Is there a light spectrum that increases it?
How do we know that caryophyllene binds to CB3 receptors?
Is this just something that scientists agree on, or have they actually seen this happen in action?
It has been shown in a mouse model... www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6983198/
