fascinating facts! quick add about limonene: recent research suggests it has a multiplier effect on THC potency, measured by increased activity at the CB1 receptors.
Nice piece of info. I noticed most medical strains in the Uk Mention a major & minor terp profile, but doesnt state the terps benefits This vid helped clear up my concerns
Here in the states I've only seen gummies that list the terpenes. And they don't list how much. The gummy maker Sometimes lists the specific strain so I can sometimes correlate them.
i really appreciate the content. i really dont like the dull power point presentation vibes, that exhausts my motivation and receptivity very quickly. non the less i am thankfull for it.
I'm the opposite. I find them much easier for my adhd to follow. Ones with a lot going on tend to make my brain spazz out and try to focus on everything at once.
So I’ve been using Mass Terpenes and they have very good and consistent terps for very fair prices. Anyone know nag brands that taste more cannabis like and aren’t super expensive? I tried cannabis derived or hemp derived full spectrum and my cost per pen to add the redos went from like .40 cents per pen to 2.50 per pen. I was like hell naw this is too much lol.
Due to the fact that circumstances can change from one grower to another, as well as one strain to another, Id simply suggest reading up on your personal symptoms you are seeking to medicate and which Ganja strains are known to assist. Once you have an idea of which specific strains assist you, then you should begin to naturally become aware of the smell and flavor profile. Otherwise, if you grow your own and get down to making concentrates like oils/wax, youll find the flavor profile will change once again, and then you can actually add some of your own terpene profiles.
I have smoked for 50 years now. All the different varietys and there effects. I am fascinated by the stamens or male sperm catchers that grow. Male pollen has thc, i know from smoking, it gave me intense relaxation or as i recall - we called it very stoned. New growing white hairs on the tips of bud give an extreme cottonmouth and energetic high, but the older stamens that turn color with age - on the same bud near the stem give a more body high. Any studys on this apparent effects to our canna-receptors? eventually we will be able to choose the effect we want. My wife with MS has recieved much benefit from pot, as have I in keeping our sanity and leaving the AMA greed fest of drugs and doctors. Please keep up your knowledge search for all of us. TY.
How about a show on which Terpenes are predominant in Primo Sativa that gives it's energetic/uplifting attributes? In this world of hybrids, maximizing THC, they lost true Sativa. Couch lock Sativa?? Not my thing.
For anyone wondering, these terpenes can be bought and added to your buds and are sold with and without thc and cbd. Perfectly natural and commercial growers do it too. That's why your dispensary weed taste so flavorful. Not because someone cured it for 2 months.

I live in South Florida in the commercial medical marijuana available here has been stripped of all that CBD and anything else except THC. I watch people going in and out of the dispensaries and I know that they have some hope for some help but dispensaries have stolen the goodness out of the marijuana plant and they just sell plants with high THC level and zero CBD. They are robbing these people of any good that could come from smoking marijuana. This commercial weed makes me cough, gives me a sore throat and brings on shortness of breath
@@surronzak8154 down here in South Florida that show the CBD legal in every form you could imagine. The medical marijuana contains only THC 725 Point 440 and CBD if anything like 1.7 50mg and three and a half grams the CBD is essentially non-existing, to.cbd bearing marijuana cost $60 for 3.5 grams and the THC marijuana can be bought for as little as $12.50. They do it for profit! Dave strip you almost all of the medical benefits out of it it just puts you to sleep. And has no positive effect
also in S FL most flowers sold have no smell.. true. FL is catching up, from 7 to 22 companies here now, next year another 22 so 44 competitors will improve quality. > Try Curaleaf> most of theirs have the smell and taste I got used to in Cali and Oregon. ? stripped how? if vaping okay some will add back some terpenes. More likely commercial growers harvest on a 60 day cycle but some terpenes show up later. so the plants are not fully expressing their phenotypes.
You should at least mention how flaforants play a BIG role in taste & smell. Terpenes play a role. But we've learned that terpenes are only a small part of those effects... As different terpenes sometimes have the same smell/taste... Just as the same terpene in 2 (same strain) plants have different smell/taste... We have always asked, "why". And it's still under study, but (the lazy term) "flavorants" has been given to other compounds within the plants/terpenes that make up these differences. This is how the same terpene makeup can smell/taste completely different... Terpenes are only a small factor... Yet still VERY important
closer to 400, but regardless....more than enough to support an ego-complex that comes from memorizing them all.. I find that referencing the human senses keeps things simple yet understood. If desired, Id go deeper and correlate what I could to whichever plant, fuit, veg came to mind
They are not cannabis terpenes, they are just terpenes which happen to be present in a lot of other plants too, right? You guys are so obsessed with this .... unbelievable.
The same terpenes that are present in every plant, flower etc are the same terpenes and naturally occur in the cannabis plants. And yes we are very obsessed with them because they are a crucial component of the effects and Medicinal properties of the plants. Perhaps you should educate yourself more on terpenes before you makes uneducated comments.
@@myriamshemp I'm sorry, but I skipped the intro so I missed the part where you explain that terpenes are actually common for many plants and even animals. And yes the terpene profile of certain strains can be very seductive. But the terpene profile from Basil and it's health benefits are even more interesting as hemp. You can talk about it in future videos , right?✌️😅
True there are no clinical trials on humans and terpenes, which we don’t state that there are, so we are not lying to anyone about anything. However you are wrong about being more complex than a mouse, actually mice are very similar to humans when it comes to anatomy, physiology and genetics, that’s why they are used in research. Terpenes have been used by humans for thousands of years with many anecdotal benefits that are supported by studies on animals. People are willing to take fda approved medications with side effects of coma and death fail to understand plant medicine

It sounds like one would get similar benefits from terpenes by eating a spicy Indian meal, as by using Cannabis.

Nobody adding terps to 😮flower
Well the curing method can secure more or less terpenes in general, so it can definitely have an effect on the end product
