    Ironically enough, I’m going to try re-glazing a white tailed deer that turned out all blobby! This video seems helpful; hopefully all will go well! 🤞🏻

    Love the video! That last blue-red you showed is amazing! It looks like a little like a galaxy. Nice little touch with using your cups as "pointers" at the end screen.

    Thank you so much for this video! I have a bunch of pieces that I want to completely reglaze so it was great seeing you apply so close to the bottom. Did you fire on stilts? And what cone/temperature were these fired to?

      So glad this was helpful for you! I try to put out content that i cant find elsewhere! Subscribe if you feel so inclined, to keep up with new videos
      If you want to reglaze every part of it and need a bit more of a grip, try doing a preemptive sand to create a rough surface for the glaze to stick to. Make sure to use an n95 mask, sand in a well ventilated area and to wash all the dust off really well before applying the new glaze! Doing this extra step is a bit tedious but helps the glaze to dry a tad faster and stick better! I didnt include that in the video because the dust it creates can be dangerous if you dont take the proper precautions.
      I did not put them on stilts because the foot and about a 1/16 of the side, i washed off all the glaze, i used a midrange glaze and fired to cone 5.

    If you use wet dry sandpaper that is used for sanding paint off of cars etc. it is much safer and the sandpaper lasts a lot longer. I’m sorry if I’m commenting too much. I just want to help you if I can.

      No! You are absolutely NOT commenting too much! i love the engagement! It is exactly what i want! I love talking with people and learning! I really should use wet dry sandpaper but i didnt have any at the house and i was too lazy to go get some at the store 😂 i recently bought a grinding disk for my wheel too!

    how can i find mug mold :(

    • @thepottereden
      @thepottereden  3 роки тому +2

      I got all my Slipcasting molds from someone through Facebook. You might find luck on ebay but they can get very pricey. Personal opinion, id hold out and find a deal on facebook where someone is basically giving them away.
