Why are you only using the one 12 volt hook ups off each power supply? Instead of each bank being powered by 1 power supply and only having two power supplies in the box? Assuming you will need to inject power any. Thanks
@@xTremeSequences Haha, I meant to type 'wide' not 'wine'. Did you cut the matrix material laying in the Bud box from a larger piece or was it a 6 pixel wide?
@@ronchazin7280 So sorry, I get it now. I ended up using a section of one inch strip instead but that piece came to me that way from Holiday Sequences for my pixel poles in 2018.
If you want independent power for each of the 8 outputs, yes. 4x8=32. The controller has 32 outputs. With 12v I try to stay within 1200 lights per power supply at 20% brightness. Need and want are often subjective in this hobby.
@@xtremesequences1965 I have 1200 lights total and im only using 1048 and i have two power supplys hp750w and two breakout boards from jboards jboards.ecwid.com/Server-Power-Supply-Fused-Breakout-Board-p206773264
Ron Howard oh no lol! I’m sorry if people are tagging your name in my posts on the Facebook xlights group! I can’t help it that my name is one letter different then yours haha. Kinda interesting though. I’ve been asking a bunch of questions cuz I’m new to his hobby since November. This is no troll I swear. Lol
You’re off to a good start there, Buddy !
beautiful job
Where did you buy the assembly kit, from the wiredwatts? Or just the Meanwells Power supply? Please advise. Thanks
Wired Watts
@@xTremeSequences but you have to reach them in advance to they create the kit for you? I couldn't find the kit in their website
@@raymundolopez431 I put the kit together. You would need to contact them.
@@xTremeSequences got it, thanks for the advise!

Never assume. I don't power inject at all. Never needed to. You want to separate each side of the boards with separate power.
Jonathon, I had to read this again. There are actually four 350w 12v power supplies in the build, not two.
do you need a power distribution block or additional fuse box for this build?
I did not. I do not employ power injection for my 40,000+ pixel light show. Other may.
Hey Ron where does the six pixel wine matrix material come from?
I have no idea what that is? Six pixel wine matrix?

You need four power supplys for the whole thing?

What red and black gauge wire did you use from your power supply to your controller ?
10 gauge
What would you recommend using on a pihat?
Looks like you may have me confused with Rob Howard. I am Ron Howard.
